running behind on a Saturday...

 and here i wanted to be already done with this blog and have most of Christmas put away already. of course, i was going to get up at 7 to do all that. instead, i didn't get up until almost 10. oh well.

i did write 1 poem last night before i took a shower.

the Dayton Flyers defeated St. Joe's last night, 77-72. you would never by the final score Dayton was up by 29 at one point of the game.

Smackdown was very good last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was excellent last night.

a few inches of snow...

 it did snow overnight. we got a few inches. i was really happy mom cancelled the appointment she had this morning. there was no way i wanted to drive in this shit. i made some biscuits and gravy this morning for breakfast. i figured that would be good for a day like this.

i didn't get to watch Manchester United play Arsenal today in the FA Cup. i did follow the match online and really enjoyed what i saw. honestly, Ole might be the second coming of Sir Alex. Manchester United won 3-1 today to advance in the FA Cup. i will enjoy that drink tonight so damn much.

the grocery store today was dead. i guess the cold ass temperatures kept the masses away. that was a welcome change. there was no one in line at the pharmacy. the liquor store wasn't packed. the aisles only had a few people in them. of course, i knew i was going to pay for it one way or another. they didn't have the deodorant mom wanted, so yeah. oh well, i got out of there with spending less than $200. maybe the fucking prices will go down again now that the asshole that runs this country ended the damn shutdown.
