Game 7

 i love when a series gets to a Game 7. now, i have been on both sides of the outcomes. it is always amazing when your team wins a Game 7. it is absolutely brutal when your team loses one. those are the sports scars that last forever. hopefully, tonight will be one of those great memories when the New York Rangers play at New Jersey. both road teams won last night in Game 7. i hope that continues tonight.

the New York Knicks lost Game 1 yesterday at home against Miami, 108-101.

the New York Yankees got swept yesterday at Texas, 15-2. they start a series at home tonight against Cleveland.

Succession was excellent last night.

Barry was amazing last night.

Somebody Somewhere was hilarious last night.

Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

i should be on here tomorrow after that match is over.

i need to get dinner ready and get the trash picked up.

and then it feels like another mountain appears...

 so, today has been one of those days that no matter how positive i try to keep my mind, i am fighting a losing battle. right as i think i am nearly symptom free, i'll start coughing. i know i am trending in the right direction, but the pace of it is frustrating the shit out of me. and then i got the news today that they want to send my mother to a nursing home for her rehab. and they have to find one that accepts patients with COVID. so now i am in the impossible situation of do i let them put her into a home for hopefully, only a few weeks. or, do i demand that she comes home and possibly dies in a few weeks. the last thing i want is for her to die at the same age my father died at. second, she has more life left in her. she does seem to be more out of the fog that she was in. so, i'm hoping the infection has cleared up and she will be beating COVID soon. i am hoping that i will be symptom free by the weekend. then, i will go get a test done to hopefully test negative and then do a little grocery shopping.
