my Saturday is off to a quiet start so far. it won't stay that way though. plenty of sports on today.
i'm getting ready to watch the USA Olympic men's soccer team play in a little bit. they need a win today against New Zealand.
Manchester United plays a friendly tonight against Arsenal out in Los Angeles. i do plan on watching that. and i'm sure mom will want to watch some of the Wrexham game tonight.
the Yankees lost last night at Boston, 9-7. they are at the point now where if they hit, the pitching fucking sucks. if the pitching is good, the hitters can't do shit. joy.
Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.
AEW Rampage was good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be AEW Collision and AEW Battle of the Belts.
i am going to try to be on here in the morning tomorrow, before the USA play Serbia in men's basketball at the Olympics. if that doesn't happen, i should be on here after the game.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
today has been one of those days where i have tried to channel the pain in the right direction. but, i know that by doing this, i am shortening my time on earth greatly. but, i got all of the Christmas cards out today. you lucky ones out there should have yours by Saturday or early next week. the contractor got the new kitchen floor in. it looks stunning. the countertops are supposed to go in tomorrow morning. but, the punch to the dick is the new appliances (fridge, airfryer/micorwave, dishwasher, vent hood, etc.) won't be in until the 14th of December. fuck me.
the Dayton Flyers were supposed to play UNLV tonight at home. that game has been postponed since the school shooting that happened today at UNLV.
i did watch some of the Manchester United game today against Chelsea. it would be nice if United played like this for the rest of the season. United won, 2-1.
after i got out of the post office today, i went to the local grocery in town. i just bought a few things we needed and stuff to make dinner for the next few nights. we ordered pizza last night. the rest of that will be dinner tonight.
NXT was excellent last night. i can't wait for NXT Deadline this Saturday.
Inside the NFL was pretty good last night.
Name That Tune was good last night.
The Voice was good last night. at least my final 3 are still alive.
Hard Knocks was great last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be AEW Dynamite and The Masked Singer.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
the Yankees and Red Sox made a trade. that surprised me. the Yankees are also very close to trading for Juan Soto. that will make me extremely happy.
i should be on here in the afternoon tomorrow.
i need to ice my back down as i really fucked that up yesterday when the arm of the computer chair broke.
a big thank you to everyone for checking out my latest published poem:
my back pain is pretty constant anymore and the only thing that helps is ice. so, this heatwave isn't exactly a good thing, at least for me. i know plenty of people that love this shit. i'm not one of them. and given how the humidity messes with my mother's Meniere's Disease, it gives me a whole new set of worries. joy.
the Yankees won last night against the Mets, 3-1. they are off tonight and start a series tomorrow at Baltimore. i think The Captain might actually be back for that.
the USWNT had a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands last night. well, i guess it was better than a loss. they next play Portugal in the final group game.
Manchester United lost 2-0 last night to Real Madrid in Houston.
the Red Scare lost last night in the TBT in a pretty big upset.
AEW Dynamite was pretty good last night.
it was fun to look back at Big Brother last night. hard to believe season 25 starts next week.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be What We Do in the Shadows.
i did watch some of the Leagues Cup last night. i'll watch some tonight as well.
we had a zoom call today with a company about doing some work in our kitchen. with how my back is, i know we need a fucking dishwasher. it still boggles my mind that mom bought a house without a fucking dishwasher.
i know i need to go to Rite Aid tomorrow to pick up a prescription. i should be on here after i get back home.
