it feels like the rain will never stop...

 it started raining late last night and over 12 hours later, still is. between my pinched nerves and my arthritis, today has been a fresh slice of hell. good times.

i did write 4 poems today while i was in the parking lot where mom does her physical therapy. she told me to just wait in the Highlander so i wouldn't get wet. i typed the 4 poems up this afternoon. i think they are really good.

the USA women's hockey team lost to Canada last night, 3-2. 

Celebrity Big Brother was good last night. Todd is the new HOH.

I Can See Your Voice was pretty good last night.

AEW was great last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on Peacock.

the New York Rangers play at home tonight against Detroit. hopefully the boys will get a win.

the USWNT takes on Czech Republic tonight to open the 2022 SheBelieves Cup. that will be on ESPN tonight at 11.

i have my eye doctor's appointment tomorrow. after that, i need to swing by Rite Aid and pick up my prescription. i may stop into Meijer before i go to Rite Aid and see what they have.

i should start the blog once i get back home. probably early afternoon.

what a time to be alive

so i was busy watching the Sunday night shows when i overhead mom say, you're shitting me, while she was watching the Oscars. i laughed and asked what was going on and she said probably the greatest fuck up on live television i have ever seen. i watched it later online and completely understood. i feel bad for everyone involved, especially the people involved with Moonlight. it figures that a black movie would get their moment stole from them, even if it was for just a few minutes. as i heard someone mention this morning, think if they would have said Moonlight was the winner and then awarded it to La La Land. at least the accounting firm admitted they fucked up today and took full responsibility for it. well, i guess that's one way to get people talking about the Oscars again...

the New York Rangers lost yesterday to Columbus 5-2. it was a good loss actually, as it put the Rangers back into the top wildcard spot. that's exactly where they want to be so they can avoid all the teams in their division until later in the playoffs.

Homeland was excellent last night. it had a wonderful holy shit ending once again.

Billions was really good last night.

Big Little Lies was great last night. the show is so well acted it's crazy.

Girls was amazingly great last night. it might have been the best episode of the show ever.

Crashing was pretty funny last night. it was great to see Gina Gershon again.

Last Week Tonight was awesome, as usual.
