2 down, 9 to go...

the New York Yankees defeated the Twins last night, 8-2. they are up 2-0 in the series now. Game 3 is Monday night in Minnesota. hopefully, the Yankees will get the sweep.

Ohio State defeated Michigan State last night, 34-10. it's becoming evident that Ohio State is one of the best teams in the country.

the New York Rangers defeated Ottawa last night, 4-1. Mika had a hat trick against his former club. the ability to score is a breath of fresh air so far this season. the Rangers are off until Saturday now.

Gary Gulman: The Great Depresh was excellent last night.

NJPW was good last night.

ROH was good last night.

Austin City Limits was great last night. i could listen to Gary Clark Jr. for hours and never get bored.

Saturday Night Live was pretty funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Batwoman, Power, Succession, The Righteous Gemstones, Ballers, Last Week Tonight, The Affair and On Becoming A God in Central Florida. i'll be watching WWE Hell in a Cell for most of the evening.

Manchester United plays at Newcastle here in a little bit. i'm not sure why i'll be watching the game.

the New Orleans Saints play today at home against Tampa Bay. i'd love to see the Saints keep the momentum going and win again today.

i had a horrific dream about my death last night. i got Bukowski's line "find something you love and let it kill you" stuck in my head so i'm sure that's what brought the dream about.

rest in peace to Ginger Baker. easily, one of my favorite drummers EVER.

i'm not sure when i will be on here tomorrow.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

until tomorrow kids...

the illusion of choice

while i am thankful this fucking election cycle ends today, it won't solve anything, it won't change anything, and it certainly won't end the divisiveness in this country. what's worse, if you're not a sports fan, there is basically nothing else on television tonight other than the election, thank god i'll have other shit to watch.

The Voice last night was like watching 3 nights crammed into one. everyone performed and 20 performers became 12 by the end of the night. just about everyone i wanted to advance did, so i'm not too pissed. here's a few of my favorites from last night:

Gotham was fucking great last night. the show gets better each damn week.

Monday Night Raw was taped since they are over in Scotland. so, i knew most of what happened. that made it pretty damn easy to fast forward a bunch of shit. i enjoyed The New Day doing Braveheart and the main event where Kevin Owens mistakenly pinned Chris Jericho sets up plenty of possibilities for the future. but, as usual, 3 hours is just too damn long.

enjoy some more music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and Smackdown.

the New York Rangers will look to extend their winning streak tonight at home against a struggling Vancouver team. hopefully i'll be enjoying a victory beer later tonight. i'll probably need it.

i'm not a big fan of the trade the Rangers made today. why give up a young defenseman that can actually fight for an older defenseman that you more or less already have on your roster. that's a fucking head scratcher for me.

i'll probably also do a little writing tonight. it's supposed to be raining, so that will be how i deal with misery.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade this afternoon. i'll post the links below in the music section.

that's all for me kids. i'm off to the shower.
