welcome to the weekend...

i was almost expecting to wake up this morning to some snow. thankfully, that didn't happen. i went to Rite Aid after i had breakfast. i needed to pick up my prescription. it wasn't busy, so that took me a whole 10 minutes or so to do that. with my laundry all done, i can, hopefully, get some poems written today between all the sports on today.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.

AEW Rampage was good last night.

the finale of The 12th Victim was excellent last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was fucking hilarious last night.

Game Theory with Bomani Jones was very good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live.

the Dayton Flyers play Fordham today in the A10 semifinals. if Dayton wins, they will play for a chance to make the NCAA tournament tomorrow.

the New York Rangers play at Buffalo this evening.

the New York Knicks play this afternoon at the Clippers.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

i'm sure i will watch plenty of college basketball today and MLS games tonight.

i should be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the morning. if Dayton wins, it might be a little later in the afternoon after their game.

i hope everyone has a good Saturday.

until tomorrow kids...

the urgency of now...

so, i did send out some poems today. 3 each to The Beatnik Cowboy and Red Eft Review (already rejected); 5 each to Horror Sleaze Trash (2 accepted for publication) and Synchronized Chaos (all 5 accepted for publication). when i hear back from The Beatnik Cowboy, i will pass along the verdict.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

Big Brother was good last night. Whitney did get evicted and i think Derek X is the new HOH.

Desus & Mero was hilarious last night.

the Yankees won last night over Seattle, 5-3. Joey Gallo had a huge 3 run homer that was the difference. hopefully, the Yankees will win again tonight.

i did stay up to watch the USA women's basketball team defeat Serbia, 79-59. they will play Japan for the gold medal.
