it snowed overnight here. nothing too bad, but i'm guessing it is a precursor of what is to come this weekend. i wrote 3 poems last night. 1 for the book and 2 for what i guess i am calling the general submissions folder. if i can keep this going, i might actually meet my goal of having this book ready to send to the publisher by late spring/early summer.
team USA defeated Switzerland yesterday at the World Juniors, 7-2. they will play Czechia on Saturday, who knocked out Canada last night for the second year in a row.
Notre Dame defeated Georgia, 23-10, to advance to the college football playoffs seminfinals.

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and Inside the NFL.
i have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. after that, i need to go to the grocery store to pick up my prescription and get whatever is on the list.
i will most likely be on here tomorrow in the morning. the Dayton Flyers play on the road tomorrow at noon.
i know we're supposed to have a big winter storm coming through on Sunday night. if that does happen, i'm guessing the grocery store will be a fresh slice of hell today.
