well, at least the new battery works...

 the guy from AAA couldn't believe the battery he was replacing last night was 9 years old. he was like, this new one has a 3 year warranty on it. i don't know if it will last 9 years, but it should work great. and it did. the Highlander started right up. that certainly took some stress off of mom's mind. $226 well spent in my mind. the AAA guy was only here about 15 minutes total. 

the New York Rangers lost last night at Colorado, 3-2, in OT.

i did get the 3 poems i needed to write done last night. so, i have all 40 ready to go. i just need to get them sent to JPR, which i figure i will do either tonight or tomorrow.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight at home against George Mason. hopefully, they will win tonight.

grocery shopping wasn't that bad today, other than the prices.

now, i need to get my drivers license renewed. hopefully, the snow will hold off for a bit tomorrow so i can get that done.

i'm going to try to send the poems for the book out tonight. i seem to do my best work after midnight anymore.

i should be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays Southampton at home.

i believe we are going to have some leftovers for dinner tonight.

6 days until my birthday. if you want to get me something, you are more than welcome to do so.
