it started raining today and i don't think it's supposed to stop until it is actually 2021. it's just enough rain to make my arthritis jump for joy. fuck me. i have been in pain all damn day, even when i was napping.
i did make it to the pharmacy today to pick up my pills. the store was fucking crowded as hell. thankfully, the line at the pharmacy wasn't long. on the drive home, i thought about the time i set myself on fire when i was 17 and why i stopped, dropped and rolled. i think i figured out in my 20's that i hadn't snuffed out the will to live just yet. part of me believes that the actual writing of the poems is my will to live now. so, i suppose i should look forward to my next case of writer's block.
the Dayton Flyers open their A10 season tonight at home against LaSalle. Dayton is favored by 12 to win the game. i'm really hoping it isn't that close. here is a podcast previewing the game tonight.
after i watch the Dayton game on ESPN+, i may check out some of the World Juniors tonight. i did watch a little college football this afternoon. plus, it is always nice to see Liverpool drop points, especially when Manchester United is in second place.
i'll probably be on here pretty early tomorrow. that is, of course, unless i have a flurry of poems hit me at the end of this fucking year.
they finally have picked up the recycling. just imagine if they actually did this shit on a schedule.
i need to go ice my bad back, so that's all for me kids.
until tomorrow...

so, mom wanted to go to Menards today. we went and it took forever. she doesn't go out much anymore, so she doesn't know how to wear a mask and not have her glasses fog up. we found most of the stuff we were looking for. and then it was time to leave. mom couldn't find her Menards card. so, as usual, i paid for it. and as usual, right at the receipt was printing out, she found the card. and then i had to listen to her bitch about the purse she had. i then made the mistake to ask didn't you go from a smaller purse to that bigger one. and then i had to learn all about summer purses and fall purses. fuck me, kill me now. she wanted to go out to lunch. i said we're getting something and taking it home. we settled on Wendy's. wouldn't have been my choice, but she was buying.
i had something like 350 emails to go through this afternoon and i'm now running way behind where i wanted to be. joy.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
Young Sheldon was pretty good last night.
B Positive was pretty funny and dark last night. i think i'm going to like it.
the Packers whipped the 49ers last night, 34-17.

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and Real Time with Bill Maher. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
i'll probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays. i'm not expecting to be in a good mood.
i hope everyone has a great weekend.
i got some great music on Bandcamp today. i highly recommend going there and getting some on Bandcamp Friday. all the money goes to the artists today.
