catching up on some sleep...

i swear, anytime i put ice on my back anymore, i'm out. now, i know it's not good sleep. maybe a hour or so. but damn, i am out completely. sometimes the pain feels like death and the ice is soft voice saying drift away. good times.

so, i opened the football cards i got from Panini yesterday. i have had decent success with the 2021 Score football cards so far. i wasn't thrilled with the first couple of packs, and then came the Trevor Lawrence rookie cards. i got 3 of them. that made me happy, especially since one is a gold parallel that should be worth plenty. i'm guessing i got about 5 times what i paid for the box.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT and Deadliest Catch.

the Yankees play at home tonight against the Phillies. hopefully, they can get another victory.

Game 6 of the NBA Finals is tonight. my gut tells me this is the night the finals end.

i might watch some of the Gold Cup tonight as well.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.

if i get a wild hair up my ass tonight, i may try to do a SoundCloud recording. i've got a couple of poems in mind.

until tomorrow kids...

how i just love back pain and crowds...

the grocery store was way more crowded than i was expecting today. and of course, my back had to be fucking with me the entire time. each step was a mental nightmare of pain tolerance. on days like these, my 44 years feels like 80 something. it's not fun.

i did listen in on my mother's call with her financial planner this morning. let's just say she's much better off than she realized.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

The Voice was good last night. most of the people i wanted to advance did.

Dark Side of the Ring was crazy last night.

WWE Backstage was pretty good last night.

Natalie Wood:What Remains Behind was very good last night. i highly recommend it.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT, AEW, The Masked Singer and What We Do in the Shadows.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after i make a trip to Meijer. i'm hoping i can find some Clorox or Lysol wipes. mom wants to have some more. i think it's all to settle her anxiety. and my sister can't find any Lysol where she lives, so if i find some, i have to buy for her as well. i think she'll be down here for Mother's Day.

that's all for me kids. i hear an ice pack screaming for me.

all the meat from Omaha Steaks showed up after i got all the groceries in. joy.

stay healthy.

wash your fucking hands.

until tomorrow...

before we get going, a little poetry news to pass on. i sent out 15 poems today, 5 each to Synchronized Chaos, As It Ought To Be Magazine and The Ramingo's Porch. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

happy Cinco de Mayo. today is the anniversary of my father going into the ground. i have never visited the gravesite, so i'm 99.9% sure he's down there.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

The Voice was good last night. i have no damn clue who is going to the next round. they go from 17 to 9 tonight.

Songland was really good last night.

Desus & Mero was fucking great last night.
