the dog days of summer... again

 yet another day in the 90's here... i got up early this morning to water mom's flowers outside. she wants to see them live for a few weeks longer. joy.

so, for dinner last night, i ordered Pizza Hut. i figured since it was Labor Day, i didn't really feel like cooking. besides, my back was punishing me for being efficient yesterday. i got 3 loads of laundry done, 15 poems sent out, 2 blogs written, 350 emails gone through and had dinner ordered before 6 PM. for the rest of the night, my back was on strike. pretty much the same for today. 

Monday Night Raw was good last night.

i did watch a little of Clemson vs. Duke last night. i didn't think Clemson would lay that turd.

the Yankees play at home tonight against Detroit. hopefully, they will keep winning.

a productive Friday...

 so, i got a good amount of things done today. i went to Rite Aid and got my prescription, after that, i went to Big Lots as i had my birthday coupon to use. i got some baseball cards and hockey cards. i spent a little over $30. thankfully, there was more than $30 worth of cards in the packs and boxes. after that, i had to go to the UPS Store to return some shoes for my mother. thankfully, that long ass line moved pretty quick. after that, i went to Meijer as we needed a few things and i had a coupon for one of them. after getting all that done, i made it back home, had lunch and watched a little soccer to take a nap. good times.

Vice News Tonight was very good last night.

NJPW was really good last night.

i've decided to get a little more creative with my bets on DraftKings. so, i will be doing more round robins on my parlay bets as i have had way too many instances of getting 3 of the 4 right and getting nothing out of it. now, the trick will be to get everything correct and then get paid 7 different ways. hopefully, i'll pull that off tonight.

i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow. i know mom wants to watch some of the FA Cup this weekend. i know i will be on here before Manchester United plays in the FA Cup against Reading and before Dayton plays at home against Richmond in college basketball.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. it is Royal Rumble weekend, so i'm pretty geeked up for Saturday night.

when a couple lines get stuck in your head...

i got a line stuck in my head a couple days ago. i've been trying to write the damn poem for about 48 hours. thankfully, today i finally got the words to flow and become a poem. i ended up writing a total of 3 poems this afternoon. i'll probably type those up sometime tonight.

the New York Rangers won last night over Vancouver, 2-1. i really love the way the boys are playing now.

the live shows for The Voice started last night. i have no damn clue who will get eliminated tonight.
