a cold Sunday morning...

apparently, 5 hours of sleep is my new normal. the last two nights has been get tired and then fall to sleep like a snap of the fingers. now, i wish i just felt like i was actually rested and revived. baby steps i suppose.

the Dayton Flyers won yesterday at home against Fordham, 78-70.

here are your videos for this day of Black History Month:

i did watch Oppenheimer yesterday on Peacock. as a history guy, i loved the movie. if you haven't seen it, do so.

i did watch some of the NHL game last night between the Devils and Flyers played outdoors. this afternoon, the Rangers and Islanders will play at the same stadium.

i did watch most of NBA All-Star Saturday Night last night. the all star game is tonight.

Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of True Detective Night Country, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Last Week Tonight, Hightown and The Woman in the Wall.

i really hope the New York Rangers win today.

i will probably watch some of the Daytona 500 today.

i guess i should probably get outside at some point and see if the mail actually got delivered yesterday.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be ever better.

and still more rain...

i had the first few lines of a poem running through my head the last few days. i tried to go to sleep last night with my fan off. silly me. so, for the next hour i flushed the poem out more. i ended up writing it this morning. i love it. i will hopefully squeeze a few more out as i would love to send some more poems out before the month is over.

the Yankees won last night over Texas, 4-3. they are now 1/2 game out of a playoff spot. they play again tonight.

The Voice was great last night.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done and most likely, after Manchester United plays West Ham again, this time in the League Cup.

while tomorrow is supposed to be rainy once again, the weather is supposed to finally feel like fall. or how i like to call it, sweatpants weather.
