almost 4 hours of sleep...

 i guess i need to start taking the weed gummies for sleep. when i took the one the other night, i might have got almost 6 hours. i didn't take one last night and barely slept four. not exactly scientific, but i'm not a fucking scientist. so yeah, weed gummy tonight.

the grocery shopping went pretty well today. i think i saved nearly $50 on everything, which i know mom likes.

the Yankees won last night at the White Sox, 4-1. hopefully, they will win again tonight.

Big Brother was a review of the first few weeks last night. i only watched for the new twist which i guess will be revealed on Thursday. that was a waste.

NXT was really good last night.

Deadliest Catch was good last night.

Hard Knocks was pretty good last night.

the day before the fireworks...

 i think the muscle relaxers really kicked in last night. there is a period of about 6 hours that i have no damn clue what the fuck was going on. all i know is i was having a golf lesson with Tiger Woods and really needed to piss. that was when i woke up and saw that it was damn near 10 AM. i remember going back to bed around 4 AM. good to know drugs still work.

the grocery stores were packed today. i figured as much. i got everything on the grocery list. plus, some extras for the long holiday weekend. my goal was to get the shopping done and be back home before the rain hit. 5 minutes after i pulled in to the garage, it started to pour. i just wish they had already picked up the damn recyclables. of course, as i told my mother they would do, they left the fucking lids open when they did pick them up. nothing like dumping an inch of water out of the can. fuckers.

the Yankees lost last night at home to the Reds, 5-4. this is quickly turning into, yeah, but did Judge homer again? that answer would be yes. he's now at 32 for the season. on pace to hit something like 66 or so.

i did catch a little of the Copa America games last night. Costa Rica defeated Paraguay, 2-1. Brazil and Colombia played a 1-1 draw. that means Colombia wins the group and will play Panama next. Brazil finished second and will take on Uruguay next. that one should be spicy.

NXT was really good last night. Heatwave should be really good on Sunday in Toronto.

a rainy day...

 it has been on and off raining all damn day. joy.

well, let me start off where the blog stopped yesterday. 

the New York Rangers pissed away a 3-0 lead last night and lost at Dallas, 6-3. oh well, they were due a stinker soon anyway. 

the USMNT lost last night to Trinidad & Tobago, 2-1. they were up 1-0 and cruising and then Sergino Dest lost his fucking mind. 2 yellow cards in about 20 seconds and the USA was short a man for the rest of the game. at least they entered the game up 3-0 so they still advance. but honestly, i kind of hope Dest never gets to play on the national team again.

Monday Night Raw was very good last night.

The Voice last night was a recap of what has happened so far this season. the playoffs start tonight.

i went to Meijer today to get some things mom wanted and get a little of the grocery shopping done. that went faster than i was expecting. i then had to go to Rite Aid to pick up a prescription. at least that will be one place i don't have to go to tomorrow.

i wrote 4 poems while mom was doing her physical therapy today. i will type those up sometime tonight as i had a place from Australia ask me to send them some poems. i'd love to get that done before Thanksgiving.
