i'm blaming it on the fact i went to bed around 2 AM. but, this also reaffirms my belief that i only get 4 fucking hours of sleep anyway. and today was one of those days i didn't get to take my little power nap that i like to get. joy.
i did take mom to her physical therapy today. her therapist said she is doing better. her new insurance covers all the appointments she needs to get better, so that was good to find out. i wrote 3 poems in the waiting area. i typed those up when i got home. they are pretty good.
Vice News Tonight had some great reporting last night from the war in Ukraine. i hope for a peaceful end to the war, but i also know Putin has no interest in peace. so, with it being like that, i hope the citizens of Ukraine kill as many Russian soldiers as it takes for the conflict to end.

i should be on here tomorrow in the morning. the Dayton Flyers play Davidson tomorrow at 12:30. if i get a wild hair up my ass, i might go to the game. of course, that kind of depends on how my mother is doing in the morning.

i wrote 4 more poems today. i'm not sure why it has become difficult for me to write anymore. i have a few theories of course, mostly involving my mother and a huge case of burnout. but, i'm not accepting the excuses. that's the beauty of having an asshole ego. so yeah, i really like the 4 i wrote today. i think i know where my next 13 poems are going for submissions. i will hopefully do that tomorrow morning.
the New York Rangers defeated the Devils last night, 6-2. of course, they lost Ryan Reeves in the game due to some dirty shit from P.K. Subban. i am happy that they went after him for the rest of the game. at least i know this team is going to stick up for each other. and i do like how the new coach plays his system. let the players do what they do best, be hard as hell to play against, and have some fucking fun. this should be a good season, hopefully.
