a cloudy Monday...

so, the snow we got yesterday fucked up the satellite for most of the day. i was able to get the Sunday Ticket package on the television via the app, but that was well into the afternoon by the time i got that going. the Saints lost to the Titans yesterday, 23-21. two missed extra points, too many penalties, too many referee fuck ups, etc. etc. etc. that's two damn weeks in a row the Saints lost a game they should have won.

the New York Rangers defeated the Devils last night, 4-3 in a shootout. the shootout went 7 rounds. i was very happy the Rangers got both points. i am still fucking furious that P.K. Subban injured another fucking Rangers player. if the league won't punish him, hopefully someone makes sure he leaves the ice on a stretcher one of these days.

Axios was good last night.

Succession was excellent last night.

Insecure was really good last night.

Curb Your Enthusiasm was hilarious last night.

the season finale of Last Week Tonight was great.

BMF was good last night.

Hightown had a holy shit ending last night.

Vice was excellent last night.

Desus & Mero was fucking funny as fuck last night.

Dexter: New Blood was really good last night.

Yellowjackets was fucking BRILLIANT last night. i am going to love this show.

i wrote 6 poems today while mom was in her doctor's appointment. everything went well for her. she really likes this doctor. i typed the poems up when we got home from lunch. i really like a few of the ones i wrote today. we went to lunch at Perkins.

i should be on here tomorrow in the afternoon.

sometimes back pain is like a...

i will allow you to use your imagination where the fuck i was going with that title.

the grocery stores today were a little busy. i live in dumb as fuck town so usually after election day, it is pretty quiet. no one around here thinks they should have to pay taxes for good roads or schools and usually vote against anything that could actually be of benefit to them. so, when i saw the local paper today talk about a patriotic concert on September 10, 2022, i looked at mom and asked her where the fuck are we moving. because i know damn well this will become a Trump rally, Q bullshit thing that these dumb fucks in this town will love. i am really fucking sick of living in a place where mediocrity is celebrated like a victory.

i did get some baseball cards today at Rite Aid. there was about $10 worth of cards in the $5 box i got.

the New York Rangers pissed away a 2-0 lead last night and lost at Vancouver, 3-2 in OT. nothing like going to bed pissed off.

The Voice was good last night. i can't wait for the live shows.

NXT was pretty good last night.

the only good thing about the Atlanta Braves winning the World Series last night is the last time they won it, 1995, the last Yankees dynasty started the following year. i wouldn't mind history repeating itself.

i made my appointment last night to get my booster Covid shot this Friday. i had thought mom had already made her appointment, because she needs the booster, the flu shot and shingles shot, but i was wrong. so, i think she was a little pissed that i didn't make her appointment as well. oh well.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after i go out to find what i couldn't find today. the prices of everything is through the fucking roof now. i got $250 worth of groceries today for $198. the same shit a few months would have cost me under $120. good times.
