 so, when the New York Rangers started the 3rd period last night down 3-1 at Carolina, i told my mother it was going to take one hell of a third period for the Rangers to close out the series. well, Chris Kreider said hold my beer and took over the game. he scored a natural hat trick to take the lead and the Rangers eventually won the game, 5-3. that clinched the series, 4-2. now, they will face either Boston or Florida in the Eastern Conference final.

the New York Yankees swept the Twins yesterday, winning 5-0. the Twins only scored 1 run in the 3 game series. the Yankees play at home tonight against the White Sox.

the two episode series finale of Young Sheldon was pretty good last night.

it did rain for a little bit today. i'm sure mom didn't mind as she finally got her plants planted outside. she was really happy that i trusted her enough to go to Rite Aid and get my pills yesterday while she was outside doing the plants on the back porch. now, to be honest, my nerves were raging, but i figured as long as i don't put the thought of her falling out into the universe, she would be fine. thankfully, she was.

i will probably take a shower after i get this done and then make dinner. i'm thinking i might do nachos tonight.
