 the New York Rangers won last night at New Jersey, 5-1 (same score as Game 1, lol) to go up 2-0 in the series. the last time the Rangers won the first two games of the playoffs like this, it was 1994. holy fuck, i am starting to feel good about this team.

the New York Yankees won yesterday against the Angels, 9-3. the Yankees start a series against the Blue Jays tonight at home.

so, what really pissed me off yesterday was the shit show Manchester United put on in Spain. Sevilla whipped them 3-0, knocking them out of the Europa League. thank fucking god i didn't get the chance to watch any of that yesterday. between mom's doctor's appointment and a trip to Kroger to get some pills and the local grocery store to get a few things, the game was over by the time i got back home. now, they have to play Brighton on Sunday in the FA Cup semifinal. if they lose on Sunday, what could have been a memorable season will turn into a mediocre one at best.

mom's physical therapy went well today. i wrote 3 poems while in the waiting room. i'll type those up sometime tonight.

it has been a rainy day here, so the house of arthritis has been in misery.

i'm sure i will watch some of the playoffs tonight in both the NHL and NBA.
