damn it was cold today

 i put out the trash last night and it was 55 degrees. i went out to get the empty recyclable container this morning and it was like 30 fucking degrees. fuck me. the wind was no joke today.

mom's nurse visit went well today. i think mom is much better than better realize. her Medicare is going to pay for some food to be sent to the house. i'm interested to see what they are going to send. 

today at the World Cup, Australia defeated Denmark, 1-0. Tunisia upset France, 1-0. Mexico beat Saudi Arabia, 2-1. and Argentina beat Poland, 2-0. those results meant that Argentina won Group C with Poland finishing second, 1 goal better than Mexico. first time Mexico hasn't got out of the group stage since 1978. France won Group D with Australia finishing second. so in the round of 16, Argentina will play Australia and France will play Poland.

the New York Knicks won last night at Detroit, 140-110. they play at home tonight against Milwaukee.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after i go to the bank. hard to fucking believe that tomorrow is the first day of December.
