some deaths hit harder than others...

 so, when i saw the news last night that Taylor Hawkins had died, i was crushed. Foo Fighters has always been a band i wanted to see live. anytime i would watch one of their shows on YouTube, i could always tell how much fun they had playing. and a major part of that was the drummer, Taylor Hawkins. i can't imagine the pressure of being the drummer in a band fronted by the drummer from Nirvana. Taylor always seemed so friendly and cool. and fuck, he was only 50 years old. that's only 4 years older than me. so yeah, this one hits a little fucking harder. thank you for all the smiles. rest in peace. my best to his family, his friends and all the fans.

so, my sister stopped by last night on her way home. she was away in Europe for a little bit. she brought me back some cool shit from the UK. 

the New York Rangers whipped the Penguins last night, 5-1. that was great to watch.

i did watch a good portion of college basketball games last night. the Elite 8 starts tonight.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.

AEW Rampage was very good last night.

the season finale of Painting With John was hilarious last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was very good last night.

i'll probably be watching some college basketball today, maybe some soccer, and most definitely some hockey.

i need to go to Big Lots today. i have a 20% off coupon. hopefully i'll find some coffee and some basketball cards.

it did snow some this morning. thankfully, nothing really stuck around here.

i should be on here in the morning tomorrow.
