so i wanted to get to the store before noon today since there's this big storm coming and i know everyone around here would be in a state of panic, as usual. i got out of the house and to the first store before noon. not as good as i wanted, but i'll take it. i got out of there and was to the second grocery store about 10 minutes after noon. of course, i had a prescription to pick up, so there was my next 30 minutes. i have no damn clue why they would put two trainees on the cash registers when the line is about 25 people deep. i got everything that was on the scroll, plus my birthday cake as well. as usual, no baggers working and my back was killing me. joy. thankfully, i made it out there before 2 PM and spent less than $200.
of course, i needed to help mom this afternoon clean as she always gets a wild hair up her ass when my sister is coming. and just my luck, i go to empty the vacuum cleaner and it breaks and most of it ends up on me. if i truly was as insane as most people believe i am, today would have been the day i would have killed everyone. but, i'm not. i wouldn't say i'm well adjusted either, just not as crazy as these assholes need to believe i am.
i'm guessing my sister will be down here before the storm starts. and i'm guessing we'll get enough snow that she's going to be here a couple days. joy.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
The Big Bang Theory was pretty good last night.
Young Sheldon was very good last night.
Gotham was fucking great last night.
Lip Sync Battle was pretty funny last night.
the New York Rangers recovered from a shitty start last night and defeated Chicago, 4-3. the win gives The King a tie for 6th place all time in wins by goalies.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NJPW, Women of Wrestling (WOW) and Real Time with Bill Maher.
i'm going to try to do the blog tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the morning. that way i have a nice little window to actually enjoy breakfast, the game, and get the blog done before the Dayton Flyers play in the afternoon. at least that is the plan.
of course, just as life, everything is subject to change.
we're supposedly going to get 7 inches of snow and a good layer of ice as well. just in time for my birthday. oh joy.
i hope everyone has a great weekend. be safe and enjoy it.
Espero que a mi hermana le guste usar una pala.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
