nothing like waking up to a freeze warning in April

this is the first week in quite some time that i have thought i need to move to Arizona or New Mexico or somewhere where it's warmer all of the time. i have a feeling i could handle my arthritis much better in the heat. although, my skin wouldn't last long out there.

for National Poetry Month, i give you:

the New York Yankees won again yesterday, 8-5 to win the series with Houston. i know the offense won't stay hot all season, so i'm going to enjoy it while it is. they start a series in Detroit this afternoon, weather permitting.

the New York Rangers lost last night 4-1. they insist they aren't tanking to have an easier road in the playoffs. i really hope they are lying about that because if they aren't, they are playing like absolute shit going into the playoffs. the last game of the regular season is tomorrow against Detroit. they will probably lose that one as well.

The Big Bang Theory was really funny last night. WWE Smackdown was really good. i'm interested to see where the Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles match leads to. it could be a beautiful place for wrestling fans. Lip Sync Battle last night was one of the more sexual ones i can remember.

since it'd fucking cold today, i believe i'm going to turn this into laundry day. plus, if i do end up going to the hockey game tomorrow night in Columbus, i probably should have some clean clothes.

i also want to get some writing done today and i have some podcasts to catch up on.
