one of those days where you're stuck in neutral...

the drought here is only getting worse. my back and pinched nerve and arthritis has had one of those days where i really could have used a bathtub of ice or a fucking morphine drip. jesus christ. but, the joy of a high pain tolerance is plowing through all the bullshit and getting shit done. yeah.

the Yankees won last night at home against Boston, 2-1, in 10 innings. Juan Soto had the walk off single. Baltimore didn't play last night, so the lead in the division is now 2 games. hopefully, the Yankees will win again tonight.

Big Brother was good last night. Quinn got evicted. Leah is the new HOH.

i did watch both episodes of The Old Man on Hulu today. they were really good. looks like it should be a great season 2.

Buffalo defeated Miami last night, 31-10. i didn't watch much of the game.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the morning.

i do need to go to Kroger tomorrow to pick up a prescription.

nothing like 3 hours of sleep...

when i got up to take a piss this morning, it was 8:30 AM. i went to bed at 5 AM. i was tempted to fall back asleep, but i didn't. i put the dishes away, made some coffee and got going with my day. probably a good thing as the guys came to do the gutters around 10 AM. so, now we have leaf guards on the gutters. that should help with the squirrels and whatever else. i did manage a bit of a nap in my massage chair. but a 20 minute power nap didn't do that much for me.
