Christmas Eve...

 we have rain moving in and my arthritis is raging. exactly what i was fucking hoping for for Christmas. fuck me.

the New Orleans Saints got whipped last night at Green Bay, 34-0. 

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

i got mom's gifts under the trees last night. since we don't get a newspaper anymore, i just kept them in the boxes they came in or got a nice bag from the garage.

i did get some Mega Millions tickets today. i wouldn't mind waking up to knowing i won a billion dollars. that would solve some problems.

 the rain finally stopped, but in came the fog. that Stephen King kind of fog. sadly, i wasn't in the mood for writing last night. the rain did me in.

the New York Rangers won last night in OT at home against Buffalo, 4-3.

i did watch both NFL games yesterday, plus some college football.

well, it is finally official. the Manchester United takeover is finally starting.

i did get mom's gifts wrapped yesterday. i also got the string of LED lights put up around the desk in the kitchen. we're trying out the new Air Fryer tomorrow morning for breakfast. fingers are crossed.

it is supposed to be warm today, so i'm guessing the last minute shoppers will love that.

welcome to winter...

 so, i did get to the grocery store early today and made it back home in time to watch Manchester United. more on that in a bit. i tried my best to keep the grocery bill reasonable considering the list i was given was more like a scroll. i ended up saving $41 so the total of $209 was a little more palpable. so, we are fully stocked now. i wanted to do that just in case the weather truly turns to shit in the next few days. we're only supposed to get a few inches of snow, but when that is falling and the wind is blowing 60 MPH, i know it is going to be fucking crazy. and apparently everyone else shopping today was thinking the same thing. but, at least this time Kroger had more than two checkout lanes going.

Manchester United won today over Burnley in the League Cup, 2-0.

the New York Knicks won last night at home over Golden State, 132-94. they play Toronto at home tonight.

the Dayton Flyers had their first 40 point win last night in 10 years. they defeated Alcorn State, 88-46.
