finding the pleasure in the pain...

i didn't have any side effects from the second vaccine shot. my arthritis has been kicking my ass all day as it was supposed to rain. of course, or thankfully, the rain didn't start until i got all the grocery shopping done. sadly, i have felt the pain of that rain from this morning on. and i guess tonight we're supposed to get hail and thunder and all the good shit. joy.

your poet of the day for this day of National Poetry Month is Katie Lewington.

NXT was really good last night.

Deadliest Catch was good last night.

Mayans M.C. was really good last night.

the season finale of Kenan was pretty funny last night.

Young Rock was good last night.

the Yankees won last night, defeating the Orioles 5-1. hopefully, they will win again tonight.

the New York Rangers defeated Buffalo last night, 3-1.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, AEW and The Masked Singer.

i am going to try to get my driver's license renewed tomorrow. i figure i will go sometime in the morning and hope i'm not there forever.

i know it is definitely raining now. when the pain radiates from my head to my toes, the fun is just beginning.

i did find two boxes of football cards today at the Rite Aid near Kroger. they cost $10 and there was about $25 worth of cards in them. i really enjoyed the hall of famers i found. i got another binder when i was at Meijer today. i needed to put all my Fleer football cards in one binder. that would give the other binders a little relief. the boxes had two packs of 1991 Fleer football cards in them. spooky.

if anyone is interested in any baseball, football, hockey, basketball, WWE, movie cards, or Monkees cards from the 60's, just let me know. i have baseball cards from 1959-2021. most of my football cards are from the 80's and early 90's, with a decent amount from the last 3 years; hockey cards are from 1980 - 2021. basketball cards are mostly from the early 80's and the last few years. the WWE cards are from 2013- 2020. if you are looking for a certain card to complete a set or looking to get a gift for someone that is just getting into collecting, i am looking to sell. drop me a line and let me know what i can send you at a better price than just about anyone out there.

i'm hoping i will be on here in the afternoon tomorrow.

i'm definitely hoping it will be before Manchester United plays Roma tomorrow in the Europa League.

until tomorrow kids...
