all things come to an end

while i was watching the final seconds tick away last night as the Dayton Flyers were losing to Wichita State, i tried to focus on the positive. i tried to think about the good times these seniors had over the last 4 years. but, my mind eventually came back to what if #5 wouldn't have died before the season? what if their highest scorer wouldn't have gone 1 out of 10 for the game? what if the selection committee would have actually given Wichita State the seed it deserved? what if there was an actually competent officiating crew that did this game? once again, the officials robbed Dayton of having a decent chance to win a game it absolutely could have. if Dayton got 1 call down the stretch of the game, then Wichita State got about 10. it doesn't help that Scoochie and KP were the only Dayton players to make more than 1 shot the entire fucking game. plus, it's really fucking hard to win when you get out rebounded by 19. and what absolutely pains me the most is the best senior class in Dayton history ends its career on 3 straight losses. Dayton lost 64-58.

i'd really like to thank Wichita State's head coach for the class he showed after the game, especially when talking about Archie Miller and the Flyers seniors. and i'd also like to thank him for publicly blasting the committee for shitting on every non power school in the tournament. hopefully they fucking get their revenge on Kentucky on Sunday.

the New York Rangers lost last night to Florida, 4-3 in a shootout. that's the 6th straight home game the Rangers have lost. i guess they must believe they have already clinched a playoff spot now. they play on the road tonight in Minnesota.

VICE was excellent last night.

NJPW was excellent as well last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was fucking hilarious last night.
