welcome to August...

 i had to sleep out in my massage chair last night. of course, i think i only got around 3 hours of sleep. when my back feels like this, i should just fill the bathtub with ice and do the plunge. i did get a decent nap in after getting some shit done this morning. of course, the pouring rain didn't give me much choice. arthritis and back pain are like mixing cocaine and fentanyl.

AEW Dynamite was good last night.

Big Brother was good last night. i'm hoping Angela or Lisa gets evicted tonight.

i might watch some of the Hall of Fame game tonight between the Bears and Texans.

i did watch some of the Manchester United game last night. they defeated Real Betis, 3-2.

mom has a doctor's appointment at 9:45 tomorrow morning. i don't know how in the fuck i am going to get her up and ready when she normally doesn't go to bed until 5 AM and gets up at noon. joy.

i should be on here sometime in the afternoon most likely.

i need to go eat some lunch and get some stretching done.

one of those days where i definitely feel like an old man

 maybe it was when i was looking for the butterscotch chips that mom wanted... maybe it was straining to bend down and get some cheese... fucking one of those days where i feel like an old man. for those that are interested, my doctors appointment went well yesterday. my weight was down, my A1C was down and my blood pressure was very good. so, all of them were pleased that i seem to be headed back in the right direction. the Trulicity has definitely worked so far.

grocery shopping went pretty well today. nothing was that crowded, so that helped.

i got home in time to watch the second half of the Manchester United game today at home against Sheffield United. the boys found a way to win while not playing great again. Manchester United won 4-2.

not sure what i am doing for dinner tonight.

i have to take the Highlander in to the dealership tomorrow at 9:45 AM. so, i know i need to get to bed a little earlier than normal tonight if i want to be able to function like whatever the fuck a normal human is like.

i should be on here tomorrow in the afternoon.
