well, this day turned out better than i was hoping...

i usually hate fucking Mondays. but, today was one of them that will go down as a good one.

Manchester United won over Copenhagen 1-0 in Extra Time today in the quarterfinals of the Europa League. it was like pulling teeth at times, but at least they fucking won.

a few minutes after that was over, the NHL had their little show to see who will get the #1 Draft pick. and HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!! the New York Rangers will have it. talk about a stroke of fucking luck. i'm so fucking happy right now.

i didn't get to bed until around 7 this morning. i have just one more book of baseball cards to go through and then i will be completely done with that. i finally know all the cards and prices i am looking for. so, soon i will start posting some pics and hopefully, there are some of you out there interested in buying some.

the season finale of Perry Mason was good last night. i think they set up season two as well at the end.

Last Week Tonight was a rerun. i hate when the DVR records something i have already seen.

Big Brother was good last night.

The Chi was really good last night.

We Hunt Together was fucking crazy last night. i think i will like it... the music in the show was outstanding. that was stuck in my damn head all night.

Desus & Mero was fucking hilarious last night.

i did watch a little of the NBA last night.

and i did watch some of Columbus beating Toronto last night, 3-0. the Blue Jackets will now face the Lightning, the same team they swept last season in the playoffs. that should be a violent as fuck series, i believe.

the Yankees pissed away a 3 run lead yesterday and lost 4-3. they start a series at home against Atlanta on Tuesday.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. it will be some time in the middle of me doing my laundry, most likely.

it finally decided to be winter around here. i ventured out this afternoon to get the mail and paper. the windchill was certainly winter like. thankfully, we didn't get much snow.

my tickets and parking passes for the First Four arrived today. my sister is going to go with me this year, so that should be interesting.

NXT last night was pretty good.

AEW last night was fucking great.

NXT UK was pretty good this morning.

WWE Super Showdown 2020 was ok for the most part until they had Goldberg beat The Fiend. unless Vince has some grand plan in mind for WrestleMania, this is a totally fucking stupid decision.

Miz & Mrs was pretty fucking funny last night.

The Masked Singer was good last night. i knew who The Mouse was as soon as she started to sing.

Manchester United won 5-0 today in the Europa League. they defeated Club Brugge 6-1 on aggregate. they have advanced to the round of 16 now. from the highlights i saw, it looked like a Manchester United team from years ago.

yesterday was 18 years since my stepfather died. my mother is still in the grieving process. this is where my understanding comes in. i know damn well that the process of grief is different for everyone. there are no set times or limits to how long each stage will last. and given her health here recently, trying to keep some laughter in this house is a fucking chore anymore.

i should be on here in the morning tomorrow. my Friday has clusterfuck written all over it. i need to get the grocery shopping done and get it done before i have to leave to go to the Dayton Flyers game tomorrow night. and given that there will still be snow in the air...
