it started off with a little rain...

i was wondering why i felt like shit this morning. my left calf muscle was screaming and my back felt broken. after i took a piss, i looked outside and saw the rain. of course, my fucking enemy. i think we got a little over an inch. joy.

the Yankees beat the Red Sox 5-2 last night. Aaron Judge homered for the 4th straight game. hopefully, the Yankees will get the sweep tonight.

i did catch a little of both MLS games last night. Minnesota beat San Jose 4-1 and Portland beat NYCFC 3-1. the semis should be really good. Philadelphia vs. Portland on Wednesday and Orlando vs. Minnesota on Thursday.

ROH was good last night.

Seeing America with Megan Rapinoe was excellent last night.

Jojo Rabbit was fucking great last night. i see why the movie got such great reviews. i loved it.

just a tornado warning...

i had to laugh. as soon as the Rangers lost today, it felt like it started to rain. and now, it's starting up again, with some thunderstorms and an apparent tornado warning. the beauty about not being afraid to die is you can live like nothing is going on. so, i have a blog to do. away we go...

the Rangers lost to Carolina today, 3-2. considering the winning goal was put into the Rangers net by a guy who plays for the Rangers, this one stung a bit. and it really sucks when you lose your best defensive forward a minute into the game on a hit from his former teammate. hopefully, they will play better and dictate the tempo more in Game 2.

the fucking reason i went to Meijer yesterday was to get coffee. so you can guess what i fucking forgot to get yesterday at Meijer. apparently, i'm at the stage of life where if i don't write it down, i'm going to forget it. i am old. fuck.

i went there after the game was over. it started to rain as i was leaving the parking lot. joy.

Orlando had a huge upset last night over LAFC in the MLS tournament. there are two games tonight, San Jose vs. Minnesota and NYCFC vs. Portland. i'll probably watch a bit of both.

i was pretty pleased with the burgers i made last night. i think they might have been a little too big, but they were cooked about as well as i can do on the stove. i have no clue what mom wants me to make tonight. the order she made at Omaha Steaks arrived before it started raining today. so, the freezer is fully stocked again.
