Happy St. Patrick's Day

 

i hope everyone is having a great St. Patrick's Day. today has been completely fucking draining for me, and i love it. so, you can imagine what happened this morning.

Manchester United defeated Liverpool, 4-3 in extra time to advance to the semifinals of the FA Cup. they will play Coventry in the semis. the other semifinal will be Manchester City against Chelsea. this game was completely fucking nuts. United went up 1-0 but was losing 2-1 at halftime. they scored in the 87th minute to make it 2-2. Rashford had incredible miss that would have won the game in regulation. Liverpool scored in the first half of extra time to go up 3-2. Rashford scored in the 112th minute to tie it at 3. then, Amad Diallo scored at the death to make it 4-3. this is the United team i have been dying to see all season. they played with heart, passion, determination, everything they have lacked all damn season. an instant fucking classic.

the New York Rangers have had a great weekend, minus another damn injury. they won yesterday at Pittsburgh, 7-4. and then today, the defeated the Islanders at home, 5-2.

i will be watching the NCAA selection show tonight to see if the Dayton Flyers actually made it in for the first time in years. i did see Duquesne win the A10 tournament earlier today, defeating VCU. Duquesne will be in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1977.

i will be on here in the afternoon tomorrow, probably after the Orkin guy leaves. he believes there is a squirrel in our attic.
