finally talked to a human...

 so, i finally got a hold of someone at Humana to find out about my Medicaid cards. they said the cards were mailed out on March 21st. it will take 7 to 8 days to arrive. well, they weren't in the mail today, so i'm assuming they will be in the mail tomorrow. and then i will have to cancel my Anthem insurance (there's $600 saved) and then go to Kroger to get my new insurance into the system and pick up the pills that are ready there. i found out today that my doctors do take the new insurance, so i should be good to go on my appointment on April Fools Day. i will have to make an appointment to get the blood work done on Monday. now, if the cards aren't in the mail tomorrow, i will blow my lid, be pissed beyond belief and realize the whole system will drive me to killing myself. good times.

i did watch the Yankees game yesterday. they won over the Brewers, 4-2. hopefully, this will be a good season. Austin Wells became the first catcher and first Yankee EVER to hit a lead off home run on opening day.

i did watch a good portion of the college basketball games last night. i went 4-0.

mom got sick yesterday, so she didn't go to the podiatrist. i'm not sure she's feeling much better today. it did warm up today, so we're airing out the house for a few hours. this is what i like to call trapping all the hot air in so i can't sleep worth a shit but she will be nice and warm.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Anaheim. 

i did finally see A Complete Unknown today. i noticed it was on HULU so i watched it this afternoon. it was good.

i will most likely be on here in the morning, unless the Medicaid cards show up in the mail early tomorrow. then, i will be on here after that chaos is over.
