so, i got the other order of baseball cards i got from Small Business Saturday yesterday. these were from Repacked Wax in Akron, Ohio. i was thrilled with what i got. the highlight had to be the 1966 Topps Don Drysdale. i think the 4 best cards in the packs i got were worth more than what i paid for 10 packs. that is why i will always try to buy cards from Repacked Wax.
the Dayton Flyers won yesterday over Northern Illinois, 79-41. they will have their first true road game coming up on Wednesday at SMU. that should be a good measuring stick to see how good they really are now.
Austin City Limits was excellent last night.
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Succession, Insecure, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Power Book II: Ghost, Hightown, VICE, Dexter: New Blood, Yellowjackets and Desus & Mero. i'll be watching NXT War Games on Peacock for most of the evening.
i think i am going to try to get some writing done this afternoon. i know i need to pound out some poems so i can send my end of the year submissions out.
i hope everyone had an excellent Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.
i should be on here tomorrow after a trip to the post office.
until then kids...
