the New York Rangers won in Montreal last night, 3-1. that building is usually a house of horrors for the boys, so i am very happy they won.
AEW Dynamite was excellent last night.
Rhodes to The Top was good last night. the season finale is next Saturday.
Saturday Night Live was hilarious last night.
Austin City Limits was very good last night.
ROH was good last night.
i didn't really watch much of college football yesterday.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Axios, Succession, American Rust, Desus & Mero, BMF and Hightown.
i have no clue what games i'll watch today. i know mom wants me to help her around the house, so that's most likely what i'll be doing most of the day.
it got down to 41 degrees here last night. it felt perfect.
i'll be on here tomorrow after i get back from the post office and bank.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.
best of luck to the gamblers today.

i swear, anytime i put ice on my back anymore, i'm out. now, i know it's not good sleep. maybe a hour or so. but damn, i am out completely. sometimes the pain feels like death and the ice is soft voice saying drift away. good times.
so, i opened the football cards i got from Panini yesterday. i have had decent success with the 2021 Score football cards so far. i wasn't thrilled with the first couple of packs, and then came the Trevor Lawrence rookie cards. i got 3 of them. that made me happy, especially since one is a gold parallel that should be worth plenty. i'm guessing i got about 5 times what i paid for the box.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, NXT and Deadliest Catch.
the Yankees play at home tonight against the Phillies. hopefully, they can get another victory.
Game 6 of the NBA Finals is tonight. my gut tells me this is the night the finals end.
i might watch some of the Gold Cup tonight as well.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.
if i get a wild hair up my ass tonight, i may try to do a SoundCloud recording. i've got a couple of poems in mind.

first off, a little poetry news to pass along. i sent out 14 poems today; 3 to Terror House Magazine, 5 to The Ramingo's Porch and 6 poems to Record Magazine. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the verdicts.
i thought i got some pretty decent sleep last night, but of course i didn't. the 15 minute nap i got in my massage chair while i was icing my back this afternoon was better i suppose. the heat finally broke last night when he had some storms roll through. that screwed up the DVR a little, but thankfully not too much.
the season finale of VICE was excellent last night.
Penny Dreadful: City of Angels was very good last night. the finale is next week.
The Chi was amazing last night. i didn't think they would start the new season off with a holy shit ending.
Hightown was really good last night.
Perry Mason was very good last night. i love that it seems to be a much more gritty version than ever seen on television.
Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Axios, I May Destroy You and Fuck That's Delicious. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
i'll be on here tomorrow after i take my mother to get her injection for her back. she really, really needs one. she can barely move without pain anymore these days. good times.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
of course, it looks like everyone jumped the gun on reopening and that second wave of the pandemic is going to be here much sooner than anyone thought. great.

the one thing i truly hate about it being warm at night is my mind is never even fucking close to shutting off. and as much as i want to believe i could get a good 5 hours of sleep if i wanted to, there would be no more than probably 30 fucking minutes of my mind just being blank. now, the writer in me loves this shit, as there is always material. but, it is also the equivalent of burning the candle at both ends. and at age 42, i also understand it's a damn good way to make sure you die before 50.
i spent my 4th of July masturbating to women selling bra & panties on QVC and HSN, listening to mariachi music and watching professional wrestling. i can't think of anything much more American than that. and of course, the hot dog eating contest.
i did do a little poetry work yesterday. i believe i know where my next 37 poems are going. i'm shooting to have those out this weekend most likely, or early next week.
the New York Yankees defeated Atlanta yesterday 6-2 to win the series. unfortunately, Gleyber Torres got hurt and is now on the disabled list (right hip strain). hopefully, he won't be out too long. the Yankees are off today and start a series tomorrow night at Toronto.
NXT was really good last night.
Lucha Underground was excellent last night.
Big Brother was pretty good last night. i have no clue who is getting evicted tonight.
if i get my ass in gear tomorrow, i'm planning on going to the grocery store in the morning. i'm not counting on it, but since my prescriptions are ready, i wouldn't mind getting the groceries before it gets too fucking hot. if that happens, i'm hoping to be back home before the World Cup quarterfinals start. and then i might just get some poems out before i do the blog. or, i could get in a mood tonight and the whole fucking plan changes. joy.
the guys came out and did the official measurements for the new windows this afternoon. those will be in by the end of summer, if that ever comes. it will be really nice to have new windows in. the ones in now are original to when the house was built in the 90's.
that's all for me kids. i hope everyone enjoyed their 4th of July. if you are lucky enough to have a long ass weekend, what the fuck are you doing reading this blog? enjoy life.
