so, when the New York Rangers started the 3rd period last night down 3-1 at Carolina, i told my mother it was going to take one hell of a third period for the Rangers to close out the series. well, Chris Kreider said hold my beer and took over the game. he scored a natural hat trick to take the lead and the Rangers eventually won the game, 5-3. that clinched the series, 4-2. now, they will face either Boston or Florida in the Eastern Conference final.

breakfast at noon...
so, i didn't wake up until after 11 AM today. almost felt like a coma since i went to sleep before 6 AM.
the New York Yankees won last night at Tampa Bay, 2-0. hopefully, they will win again today.

plenty of doom and gloom...
i don't think the sun has come out at all today. one of those kind of gloomy autumn days that reminds you death is around every fucking corner anymore. good times.
the New Orleans Saints lost yesterday at Houston, 20-13. yet another one of those games where you can look back and realize, they should have won. they play this Thursday at home against Jacksonville.

trying to stay in the moment...
as a sports fan, i do a pretty good job of staying in the moment. the task at hand, etc. i do my best to apply that to my life. and i am trying to get mom to do that as well. my belief is when her mind starts to wander off into the distance, her auto-pilot is drunk and asleep at the wheel. that would explain the falls, etc. just a theory but it makes sense, at least in my eyes.
i wrote 2 poems while mom was in physical therapy yesterday. i typed those up after we ate lunch. she wanted an Orange Cream shake from Arby's, so we just got lunch from there. i tried that new Wagyu beef sandwich they have. it was really good. the poems were really good as well. i'm hoping to get another handful of poems written this week so i'll have plenty to choose from for the next round of submissions.
the New York Yankees lost to Baltimore last night, 6-4. that is 3 losses in a row for the Yankees. hopefully, they will end that fucking streak tonight.

up before the sun, again...
i swear, i can't get more than 4 1/2 hours of sleep at one time, unless i am chemically induced. and i doubt i will get my nap in today, given i have to do the rest of the shopping. joy.
AEW Dynamite was really good last night.

and the wind starts to howl...
today is going to be nothing but strong winds and rain. oh goody.
the New York Rangers defeated the Coyotes last night, 3-2.
AEW Dynamite was amazing last night. the match between Hangman and Bryan Danielson was off the charts great. a 60 minute time limit draw masterpiece. now, i can't wait to see them do it again.

a cloudy day, aching of rain...
my left knee has been killing me all day long. the joys of arthritis. fuck.
the New Orleans Saints defeated Carolina yesterday, 27-24. i thought the offense did pretty well given the number of wide receivers that are injured. the defense did just enough to win.

a rainy, muggy Friday... joy
so, i had to go to the grocery store to pick up mom's pills. it's been rainy and muggy all fucking day, so my arthritis has been having a fucking rave. no line at the grocery store, so that was cool. but, in the infinite wisdom of Kroger, they were training a new person in the pharmacy today. so, it took way longer than it needed to be to get the one prescription i was picking up. not to mention, it cost $260. so, on the way home, i got stuck behind someone who thought the speed limit was the word of god. i tend to look at it as mere suggestion. so, for the next few miles, i was stuck behind someone going anywhere between 5 to 10 mph below the limit. and right as i was going to pass, they finally fucking turned. by this time, it was raining again. joy. i got home, and mom was doing her Tai Chi for beginners workout. the grass was being mowed and i went to close the windows on the doors. my mother said something about her computer and fixing the clock on it. i asked what was wrong with the clock? and she looks at me like i have two heads and said she said font. i was like no, you said clock, but ok. so then she accused me of lying to her. i asked why the fuck would i lie to you? she then said i lie to her to make her feel more crazy so she'll die sooner. it was at this point i just said, yeah, you know me for sure, and walked to my fucking room. my patience is running fucking thinner than my hair these days. so, i'm really hoping there's going to be a writing session tonight as i have this incredible need to fucking unload.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
Shelter in Place with Shane Smith was really good last night.
No Mercy No Malice with Professor Scott Galloway was excellent last night.
Total Bellas was pretty good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, Betty and Basketball County: In The Water. i'll watch 205 Live tonight on WWE Network.
i'm really hoping i have nothing to fucking do this weekend. as the weather gets warmer, of course, it has to fucking rain. and the forecast looks like rain and humidity all fucking weekend. so yeah, i'll be a little miserable for the most part.
but, the Bundesliga comes back this weekend, as does NASCAR. so, i'll at least have some new sports to actually watch.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i hope everyone has a great weekend.
stay healthy.
wash your fucking hands...
until tomorrow kids...

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.
Dark Side of the Ring was very good last night.
WWE Backstage was pretty good last night. i didn't get to see all of it as the DVR fucked up. thankfully, i only missed the first four minutes.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Masked Singer, AEW, NXT and What We Do in the Shadows.
my pain today is really bothering me. both times i have iced my back it feels like i have slipped into a coma. good times.
i know it's supposed to get colder tomorrow. maybe May will be a warmer month. the only good thing about COVID-19 is how the planet itself has responded. and what this should show everyone, we can stop climate change, if we really wanted to. that's probably exactly why it will never happen.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
stay healthy kids.

just enough rain to realize god hates you and always has...
the USA lost to Finland yesterday 1-0 at the World Juniors. it wasn't the result i was hoping for, that's for sure. but, the streak of medals was going to end sometime.
the Dayton Flyers whipped La Salle last night, 84-58. part one of the Philly curse is over with. part two comes Sunday at Saint Joseph's. they haven't won there in almost 20 years.
the New York Rangers lost to Calgary last night, 4-3. when you give up a shorthanded goal when you're on a 2 man advantage, you should lose.
late last night i listened to the latest podcast from Notsam Wrestling. you can find that by going here:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
what pissed me off the most today was shit i was looking for at the stores weren't there. it happened at all 3 places i went to today. and i had to get gas today as well. thankfully, i had $1 off a gallon for that. that helped big time since i was damn near empty.
i did get a new coffee mug for myself today:
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
i'm going to try to be on here before Manchester United plays Wolves tomorrow in the F.A. Cup. in case i'm not, here is a preview:
i think my big task this weekend will be taking the Christmas shit down and probably getting my laundry done.
i do plan on being on here before the NFL playoffs start tomorrow.
and i'll probably be checking the internet for the results of the big NJPW events this weekend. sadly, i won't be to see them now that AXS TV has dropped NJPW from its lineup, fucking assholes.
that's all for me kids. until tomorrow...

it finally feels like fall
mom was having muscle spasms all night, so that was fun. she got the results from her x-ray. nothing is cracked or broken, so that's good. she's just bruised really bad. the doctor gave her some muscle relaxers. i don't think they are helping as much as she wanted them to. now i just have to remind her to keep ice on it as much as possible. good times.
Smackdown was pretty good last night. i loved that Bayley went full heel and won back the Smackdown women's championship. it was also the first night of the draft. this should help both shows to feel much different in the weeks to come.
205 Live was good last night as well.
the finale of Murder in the Bayou was very good last night. i know if i wanted life as a criminal, i would move to Jennings, Louisiana.
Room 104 was excellent last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was fucking hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be ROH, NJPW, Austin City Limits and Saturday Night Live.
the USMNT defeated Cuba last night, 7-0. i was very pleased to see that outburst.
the New York Rangers play this afternoon at home against Edmonton. it's a battle of undefeated teams.
the New York Yankees start the ALCS tonight at Houston. this is the series everyone expected before the season even started.
i'll watch plenty of college football today as well.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.
i should be on here tomorrow before the Saints play in the afternoon.
until tomorrow kids...
