i got 5 hours of sleep last night. i know i need more, but i'll take what i can get. i did talk to the muse last night. it was good catching up with her. i'm happy she is taking another step in her dream of living in Germany, etc. one thing about me is i always want to see my friends achieve their dreams. and if i can help along the way, i certainly try. now, it would be lovely if that karma would come back and help me with my dreams. apparently, that is where the lines of communication tend to end. good times.
the Yankees won last night at Seattle, 2-1, in 10 innings. the win clinches a playoff spot. the lead in the division is now 5 games. magic number to clinch the division is 6 i think. hopefully, they will get the sweep this afternoon.
Big Brother was good last night. i have no clue who gets evicted tonight between Rubina and T'Kor.

it feels like i have been going since i woke up at 8:45 this morning. i took mom to her dental appointment that lasted for almost 2 1/2 hours. while in the waiting room, i wrote 6 poems and made 2 hockey bets. (more on the gambling later). after she was done, we went to Arby's for lunch. i watched a little of the Champions League and then typed up the 6 poems i wrote. i think they are pretty good. one i think is damn good. after i got those typed up, i went to go get a haircut. first time i ever got my hair cut by an Asian woman. i'm not sure how much English she spoke, but she did like the $10 tip on a $18 haircut.

so, i was hoping that SummerSlam was going to be good last night. it wasn't. it was great. you definitely could feel how HHH is going to do things differently than Vince did. and honestly, right from the start of the show, the pacing was better and the oh shit moments were amazing.
the Yankees won yesterday over the Royals, 8-2. Aaron Judge hit another home run. he now has 200 for his career. he's the second fastest to get to that mark in MLB history. he also set the Yankee record for most home runs before August. when you are doing stuff that Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle did, you are having an unreal season. hopefully, the Yankees will get the sweep this afternoon.
the Red Scare lost yesterday in the TBT semifinals. it looked like they ran out of gas in the end.

so, i just happened to notice this afternoon footprints in the ice and snow up to our door. the item i ordered from Publishers Clearing House arrived via the post office. so, i knew i needed to get out there and get the mail. thankfully, i did that right before the snow really picked up. we got a decent amount of ice and now i'm guessing we're going to get a good 6 to 12 inches of snow. good times.
