 so, i was getting ready to write this about a hour ago. that was until i heard mom scream from her room. i went in and turned on the light and asked what was wrong? she started complaining about all the people in her room, etc. i told her she is once again hallucinating and thinking her dreams are reality. i explain to her all the time this is the byproduct of not doing any drugs while growing up in the 60's.

sometimes the pain gets to be so much...

 so, after i did the dishes at 3 in the morning... i woke up from a nap while watching AEW... the rain was just enough last night to get my arthritis going to the point where the pain just shut my body off. between the pain, alcohol, etc. i was either in a deep sleep or partially dead. now, it was only for 45 minutes, but it certainly felt longer.

i got a letter in the mail today saying the Medicaid had denied my Rybelsus prescription. so, i go from an 8.4 to 6.0 on my A1C and i'm showing no progress on the drug. i know the government doesn't want to pay for shit, at least have the dignity to tell me you'd rather see me die than actually live better through science.

i will hopefully get some poems written today while i am in the waiting room when mom is doing her physical therapy.

 we have a wicked cold front getting ready to come through here tonight. it was in the 60's today. they just said on the weather that it won't make it to the 40's tomorrow. good times.

grocery shopping went pretty well today. my pinched nerve didn't fuck with me too much. now, when i got home and mom was still asleep... that was when my pinched nerve decided to be an asshole. but, i got all the groceries in and put away. i got mom a Pecan Snickers bar when i was in the checkout lane. i figured when i saw that she was still asleep, she would eat it for her breakfast at 4 in the afternoon.

 so, i was dead tired last night and went to sleep a little after 2 AM. i woke up feeling really relaxed. i rolled over and the clock said 4:41 AM. i deflated. it was then a process of twenty minute naps until 6 AM came along. i frustratingly got up and got my day going. of course, after i had breakfast and talked to mom a bit, i went out to my massage chair and fell asleep. 3 hours later, woke up and was shocked. i would give a limb to get a decent night of continuous sleep.

so, another interesting day...
