hello anger, it's me...

mix in arthritis with frustration and the inability of my fingers to hold a fucking computer mouse correctly anymore and you can understand why being a poet is some days as much of a fucking curse as it is a damn blessing. sending out the poems this morning was an adventure to say the least.

i sent out 12 poems, 2 to Tuck Magazine and 5 each to Easy Street and Synchronized Chaos (already accepted by the way). when i hear back from Michael and Cami, i'll pass on the verdicts.

i haven't typed up the poem i wrote yesterday. i'm hoping there are a few more coming. considering the pain i feel when typing, unless i'm drinking heavily, i'm not going to just type up one poem.

the New York Yankees left a small village on base yesterday, losing to Toronto 4-2. CC only pitched 3 innings because of a bad knee. that's just what this team needs... more injuries. hopefully they will get a win tonight. they are now 4 games behind Boston in the division.

Smackdown was pretty damn good last night.

205 Live was good last night as well.

the team this season on Hard Knocks is Tampa Bay. another team from the NFC South i can't stand, so i'll mostly be watching for shits and giggles.

Deadliest Catch was pretty good last night. i was reminded why i never felt any desire to work on a crab boat.

The Jim Jefferies Show last night was excellent.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Mr. Mercedes, Big Brother, Snowfall and Lucha Underground. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i think i was so damn tired last night that when i fell asleep i ended up staying in one position most of the 5 hours i was asleep. let me just say that wasn't much fun getting out of bed with your whole body in pain.

it took me over a hour to get the dishes done last night. that probably helped me be so damn tired. hopefully mom decides a dishwasher would be a nice addition to the house soon. i certainly wouldn't mind.

i'll be on here tomorrow sometime before i take mom to her final physical therapy session for now. i guess i get to be the lucky one that makes sure she does her home exercises. joy.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

getting back in the groove

so that wild hair did get up my ass again today and i did a little poetry work. i sent out 17 poems today. 2 to Tuck Magazine and 5 each to Your One Phone Call, Because Eileen and Synchronized Chaos. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

team USA got up 2-0 against Switzerland last night and you could see they were already thinking about playing Russia. it's a good lesson for kids to learn and it is easier to teach when you win. Switzerland controlled pretty much the rest of the game. if it wasn't for the USA's power play, they probably wouldn't have won 3-2. they will have to play much better if they want to beat Russia again in the semifinals. if they win, they will play for the gold medal against the winner of Canada vs. Sweden. if the USA loses, they will play for the bronze medal.

Monday Night Raw wasn't bad last night. that doesn't mean it was good either. i do like the fact that they are pushing Braun Strowman as much as they are. the main event scene definitely needs some fresh blood. the last man standing match between Braun and Sami Zayn last night was booked perfectly. that was probably the only thing on the show that was.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and Smackdown. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Buffalo. hopefully they will extend their winning streak.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight on the road at St. Bonaventure. the two injured players made the trip, so i'm hoping they might actually play. the team will need them.

today has been another gloomy one. more fog, more rain, more blah. i still have the trash to do here and next door and of course it's raining again. good times.

that's all for me kids. i'll be on here sometime before the USA takes on Russia. it might be a short one tomorrow as i have to take mom to her next doctor's appointment at 6:45 in the morning on Thursday. so i might actually have to get some sleep tomorrow.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

another weekend, another...

i think i fell asleep last night watching the severe weather channel on DirecTV. they usually will just show the local broadcasts from where the storms are. it's somewhat fascinating to see that all local media does the same shit; fear mongering, dire predictions, scare them to death. and you would think in a state like Florida, it wouldn't take much. i am happy that the storm hasn't done nearly the amount of damage they were thinking it would do. hopefully it stays that way.

i watched a good portion of the New York Rangers final preseason game last night. for the first two periods, they were good. sloppy but good. in the third period, the Rangers were god fucking awful. turned a 2-1 lead into a 4-2 loss to Philadelphia. i have no clue who is going to make this team now. considering how AV likes to do it, i figure i'll be pissed at something. their first game is on Oct. 13th.

i did watch a little of the football game last night. i finally got a fantasy defense to do something good for me. and i picked the game right as well. hopefully those are good signs of things to come.

Better Things was really fucking funny last night.

Fuck, That's Delicious was great last night. Copenhagen certainly looks like a town i would enjoy.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and High Maintenance.

i sent out 13 poems this morning; 2 to Tuck Magazine, 5 to Live Nude Poems and 6 to Rose Red Review. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the verdicts.

team USA plays Cuba down in Havana this afternoon in a soccer friendly. hopefully, the USA wins but what i'm hoping the most for is no injuries. that field looks like a fucking landfill.

i figure i have to go to the grocery store today. and just to fuck with myself, i'm going on a Friday afternoon where it should be busy as hell. good times.

i will probably be on here tomorrow morning since Ohio State plays in the afternoon. more on that big game tomorrow.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. i hope everyone in the path of the hurricane stays safe.
