i could have done without the rain

i actually felt tired enough last night that i thought i could sleep for around 10 hours. and then it started raining. needless to say, i was lucky to get 4 hours. on top of that, i must have slept on my neck wrong as well. good times.

well, i got the first round of Christmas cards done last night. i figured i would get my father's sisters out of the way first. now comes the fun part of figuring out what my friends and fans will get this year.

The Voice was really good last night. i don't have a clue which two will be going home tonight.

Monday Night Raw was really damn good last night.

The Newspaperman: The Life and Times of Ben Bradlee was really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Voice, Drop the Mic and Will & Grace. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

Manchester United takes on CSKA Moscow today at home. this is the last game of the group stage of the Champions League. hopefully they can get a positive result today and win the group.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Pittsburgh. given the way the division is this year, this is a very important game for the Rangers. hopefully they can find a way to win.

i figure most of today will be me doing my laundry and complaining about being in pain. joy.

i'll be on here early tomorrow as i will be going to see the Dayton Flyers play tomorrow night. yes, i am a glutton for punishment.

that's all for me today kids.

disfruta la locura

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

some rain, a masturbation story, some more rain, a little music, poems and some sports...

my back has been killing me all day today. this persistent drizzle is the fucking culprit. tonight is when the heavy shit is supposed to start. that won't be fun at all.

i wrote 3 poems today, all after i shot my load nearly 3/4 of the way up my chest. i guess i needed a release. as for the poems, the first one may be a fucking classic. only time will tell. the other 2 are solid. i'm planning on sending some more out next week.

i spent the morning on NoiseTrade again. found a couple old albums i downloaded for FREE. i'll post the links below.

i did pretty good in fantasy football last night. i picked the game right as well.

i watched mostly sports last night, bouncing from game to game. i decided to take a nap instead of watching a lot of Peter Pan. that worked out pretty good for me.

i'm looking forward to Sonic Highways tonight. it's the series finale, so it should be good.

the New York Yankees finally woke up and did something this offseason. they traded for a shortstop and signed the best reliever not named David Robertson on the market. i do like the addition of Andrew Miller. he should fit in the bullpen very nicely, especially if they bring back DRob, as they should. $9 million a season is a little steep, but, it's not my money, so i don't care. as for DiDi Gregorius, he has the impossible task of replacing Derek Jeter. i like the kid, watched him play minor league baseball in Dayton. hopefully he plays great defense and simply hits just enough. if the old fucks in the lineup do their jobs, DiDi will not be a problem. if they are relying on him for his bat, the Yankees will be mediocre like last season.

this is going to be a short one today as i need to get started on dinner. i'll be on here in the morning tomorrow as my afternoon will be another clusterfuck of sports.

i hope everyone has a great Friday night and a wonderful weekend. remember, only fuck the ones that cough and never shit in your own yard.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

hunker down for a storm

we're under a winter storm warning as i'm writing this. the warning lasts for the next 33 hours. they are saying we might get some ice but it is more likely we get 4 to 6 inches of snow. even typing it my back starts to hurt. they are rarely ever correct with these reports but i still pay attention to them.

my yesterday was a mixture of the unacceptable to the joy of being freaked out.

Manchester United lost 1-0 at home to Everton for the first time in 21 years. i did get a good laugh when the traveling Everton fans started to chant that David Moyes would be sacked in the morning. from your lips to god's ears. how they manage to finish in the top 4 this season is beyond me. i'm not sure they have enough money to buy the players they actually need to turn this around. the more i talk about it or write about it the more it just enrages me...

the Dayton Flyers won by 10 last night, 56-46. a very frustrating and sluggish game, mostly due to Delaware St. deciding the only chance they had to win was junk defenses and a 3 man weave that took up 20 seconds of every possession. i think Dayton won that game by attrition. didn't help that for long portions of the game Dayton couldn't put the ball in the ocean, let alone the basket.

i did get home in time to watch American Horror Story. what a fucking great episode last night. i knew what was in the box at the end but i certainly didn't expect it to talk. that was fucking fantastic. i can't wait to next week's episode.

i got an email today from Amazon.com saying the rest of my shipment should be here on the 10th. that gives me plenty of time to wrap them in the obituaries.

i also got an email from Sam Roberts last night. kind of spooky that someone a hell of alot more famous than me actually wrote me back. i urge all of you to check out his podcast and tell everyone you know about it. you can find it at notsam.com or on the right hand side of this blog.

tonight will be a busy night on the television. all of this will be going on at the same time. the high school i graduated from will be playing for the state title tonight in football against the high school LeBron James went to. the New York Rangers are playing up in Buffalo in a game they desperately need to win. i have a player on both of my fantasy teams going tonight in the NFL game. plus, The Big Bang Theory is new this evening. how i manage to watch all this and keep it all straight in my head is one of the joys of being crazy.

i've got the last load of my laundry in the dryer. figured i better get that done just in case the weather is worse than these assholes believe it will be.

i did see a new kitten today. looks like it might be a few months old but certainly not one of the ones that went missing. i believe it is one of Whitey's. i almost hope we do get a big snow just to see the cats that were born this summer freak the fuck out.

if we do get a decent snow, i will try to take some pictures. it's always good to share your misery. if the snow gets really crazy, i might get the video camera out and make a quick YouTube video. just need to find the right poem for that, just in case.

that's all for me. i'm hoping for a few victory beers this evening. i'll be on here tomorrow, probably after the snow quits. or whenever it gets bad enough that i'd rather be typing than shoveling.

hope everyone is well and you are doing good in your neck of the woods.

and just as i was getting ready to publish this i get the news that Nelson Mandela has died. maybe finally that man may be at peace.
