it is hard to believe that today is September 1st. time fucking flies...
i did make it to the bank today. that was after a long needed nap with ice on my back. i turned on the transfer show in England and sure enough, i was snoring before too long. i did see that Manchester United made some needed additions today. took fucking long enough.
the Yankees lost yesterday at Detroit, 4-3, in 10 innings. they start a series tonight in Houston. i will only be interested because they have finally called up The Martian.
Big Brother was good last night. no one got evicted since the secret power was used. Jared is the new HOH.
NJPW was excellent last night.
the two episode season finale of What We Do in the Shadows was fucking hilarious.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and AEW Rampage. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.
i did make a little money on college football last night. hopefully that will continue all season long.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
a big thank you to everyone for checking out my latest published poems:
so, i did get mom out to the contractor's office this afternoon. it was a bitch to find since the street it is on has 2 addresses with the same number (fucking East Dayton/Kettering), but we eventually got there and on time. thankfully, the number they had for the kitchen renovation was pretty much what mom and i were willing to go to for it, so it is a go. this will greatly upgrade the kitchen and will finally put a fucking dishwasher in there. my back will scream with the pure delight of not having to stand there for hours on end scrubbing dishes.
now, my back has been killing me all day. the 40 minute drive to and back from the contractor's office didn't do me any favors. and i still have dinner to cook tonight. fun.
the Yankees won last night at Detroit, 4-1. they are up 1-0 so far tonight.
Monday Night Raw was good last night.
i did see who the New Orleans Saints kept for their 53 man roster. i'm sure there will be some changes come tomorrow.

on the DVR tonight will be NXT, Deadliest Catch, Don't Forget the Lyrics and Hard Knocks.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.
i haven't been able to figure out the fucking noise coming from the computer. all the hacks that worked before haven't worked now. so, i figure i'm going to start taking shit off the hard drive (music, pictures) and once that is done, take a trip to Best Buy and get a new one. i think i'm also going to get a different desk and some wire cabinets to make this corner of my room like an insane person's office. if i get this done, i'm sure i will share some pics.
ok kids, until tomorrow...
fight the power.

so, the fan on the computer has been running non-stop again. i did all the troubleshooting i could find on google on what to do. hell, i even fucking cleaned. so, i'm guessing i will be selling an organ to afford a new computer. good times.
that has taken up most of my day. i thought the company looking to do our kitchen was supposed to be here at 3. well, it turns out, we were supposed to go to them at 3. so, that will be the drive tomorrow afternoon. 26 miles away. that should be fun given how mom hates to ride in the Highlander for long distances anymore.
the Yankees lost yesterday at Tampa, 7-4. they start a series tonight at Detroit.
the New Orleans Saints lost last night at home to the Texans, 17-13. they have until tomorrow to cut their roster to 53. that should be interesting to see who the final cuts will be.

if i can get the fan to stop running all the damn time, i might be on here in the morning to get the blog done before i have to drive mom out to the contractor's office. if not, the blog will be another late one.
i wrote two poems today waiting for all the diagnostic tests to get done on the computer. i'll type those up when i get done with this.
