time for some drinking

i was curious to see how Manchester United was going to play today. scoring 90 seconds into the match against West Ham certainly got my hopes up. going to break at 1-1 was a little frustrating. but, a very dominant second half sent the boys into the semifinals of the EFL Cup with a 4-1 win. that's much more like it. they will play Hull City in the semifinals. the next match in the Premier League is on Sunday against Everton. 2 goals each today from these two:
i thought the manager said it best:
and HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! look who is still alive:
the roar when he came on brought a smile to my German soul.

the New York Rangers fell behind 2-0 last night. i was interested to see what kind of character the team had built so far this season. they scored the next 3 goals to win 3-2 over Carolina. that's a good sign. they play next against Buffalo.

The Voice was interesting last night. 2 of 3 in the bottom were definitely who i thought was going to be down there. but, i certainly didn't expect Blake's team to lose 2 people last night.

Scream Queens was excellent last night.

i really enjoyed Van Morrison: Live at the Rainbow. it was a performance from 1973 and it simply reaffirmed my belief that i'm an old soul.

Smackdown was great last night. so was 205 Live on WWE Network. i'm so damn happy for Rich Swann.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Total Divas and Lucha Underground. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade this morning. i'll post the links below in the music section.

i had to go to the grocery store today to pick up some of mom's medications. the woman working the counter at the pharmacy has me perplexed. she seems to be almost flirting with me but i can't decide if that's my brain fucking with me or is she actually interested. of course, i'm naturally shy, amazingly enough. so i'm pretty quiet and respectful, you know, thank you, you do the same, etc. type of shit. now, if i happen to have a little alcohol in me, all bets are off. just wanted all of you to know where the next set of poems will be coming from.

hard to believe that December starts tomorrow. i guess i need to start getting the Christmas cards ready to go out. i may put out some surprises as well this year, not sure yet. if a little whimsy gets blown up my ass, who knows what will happen.

i hope this finds everyone enjoying a beverage of your choice. take it easy and then take it again.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

just trying to be productive

mom didn't have any of the complications i had with the shots she got yesterday. i am really happy about that. hopefully these shots work out good enough that she doesn't have to have surgery on her back.

i decided i was going to be a productive fucker today. for someone consumed with apathy, it's an accomplishment to even think it. i did the dishes, cleaned the toilets, went to the bank and grocery store, got gas and got the trash picked up here and next door. on top of all that, i also put out bird food. i figured it's going to rain tomorrow, so i'm sure the little fuckers would want it. all in all, not a bad day, although i could use a fucking nap.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. they are actually on a streak of good shows, amazingly enough. i did enjoy the main event between Sasha Banks and Charlotte. i love just how far women's wrestling has come since i started watching wrestling when i was a child.

Gotham was spectacular last night. two major twists and an oh fuck ending... man, January can't get here soon enough.

The Voice was pretty good last night. some of the performances were just so so to me and the rest were fucking home runs. i'm not sure which 2 performers will get sent home tonight. here are some of the performances i liked:

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Voice, Scream Queens and Van Morrison: Live at the Rainbow. i'm also planning on watching 205 Live on WWE Network tonight. it's their new show for the cruiserweights.

the New York Rangers play tonight against Carolina. if they keep the current pattern up, they will win tonight since they lost their last game.

i may try to sneak in some college basketball tonight as well.

i'll probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays. hopefully, i will be in a good mood.

it would have to be raining

nerves and arthritis are a shitty mixture, to say the least. today was the day mom got her first round of injections into her bad back. the doctor said it's one of the worst ones he has ever seen. she's actually getting a shot on each side of her spine. so far, she's doing much better than i did when i got my first shot for my back 8 years ago. hopefully it stays that way. the next round of shots will be in the middle of December. the doctor hopes that after all the shots are given, back surgery can be avoided. the hip is a completely different story. i have no clue when she'll get her hip replacement, but i'm thinking sometime in 2017.

my sister stayed around for the procedure. i think she wanted to know what was going on for herself. she got back home before all the damn rain really got going today.

it's the kind of rain that gets me drinking in the day. of course, i also wrote 3 poems, so it's not all bad. all 3 were from various thoughts while in the waiting room. give me a smoking hot receptionist in a dress that keeps climbing up her a thigh, 5 or 6 poor white trash motherfuckers and chaos erupting on a major college campus and you have the perfect recipe for some poems.

yesterday was a mix bag for me for sports. might as well start off with the good.

the Dayton Flyers lead for the majority of the game yesterday against New Mexico. i was most proud of the boys when they lost the lead and got it right back and quickly extended it. that's a good sign. Dayton defeated New Mexico 64-57 in the 5th place game of The Wooden Legacy tournament. they are off until Saturday.

the New Orleans Saints were facing an ex defensive coordinator yesterday. they obviously wanted to rub his nose in it. they got what they wanted. the Saints erupted for a 49-21 victory yesterday over the Rams. it was a pleasure to watch.

Manchester United got scored on in the first 90 seconds yesterday. i was not pleased. they did come back to tie the game at 1 on a great goal from Zlatan, but they could never find the goal to win the game, thanks to West Ham's goalie standing on his head for most of the second half. a 1-1 draw with West Ham is basically a loss. that's the 4th straight home draw in the league. they haven't done that since 1980. they play West Ham again on Wednesday in the League Cup. hopefully they will find a way to win. they won't have Paul Pogba for that game due to yellow cards. great.

the New York Rangers are back in their old ways of looking great one game and mediocre the next. now, i do think Ottawa's goalie played a role in that, but the boys have to know by now that you can't be all flash every fucking game. you need a little KISS theory now and then as well. the Rangers lost 2-0. they play again tomorrow against Carolina.

Westworld was fucking great last night. it was a mind fuck that i truly enjoyed. the season finale next week should be spectacular.

Divorce was very funny last night.

the season finale of Insecure was awesome last night. i loved the tease of them getting back together and then it not happening. that was an excellent way to set up season 2.

Shameless was great last night.

The Affair was very interesting last night. i'm really interested to see what happens next week.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and Gotham. i will be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening, provided that the rain doesn't fuck up the satellite feed.

2 of the things i ordered mom for Christmas have already arrived. that's a good sign.

all in all, it was nice to have my sister down for the holiday weekend. i think she has a better understanding of what mom is facing and how things are really going down here.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. hopefully if you did do some holiday shopping, you got a great deal.

instant classic

sports are at their best when the hype of the event gets lived up to. yesterday's game between Ohio State and that team up north certainly is one of the best examples. the game had absolutely everything in it. Ohio State won 30-27 in double overtime. i will certainly remember this victory for a long time. now, Ohio State will have to see what the playoff committee does since Penn State will be playing in the Big 10 Championship game. i can't imagine they will take Ohio State out of the top 4.
hats off to the school up north's coach for showing his true colors after the game. whining about the officials like the true piece of shit he is. hopefully he never beats Ohio State and then runs back to coach in the NFL so he stops being an embarrassment to his school.
i could watch these videos for the rest of the year...

i was absolutely spent after the game. it felt like my heart was pounding through my chest. i feel comfortable knowing that one of these games will kill me one day.

ROH was excellent last night. Final Battle certainly looks very interesting this year.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Westworld, Divorce, Insecure, Shameless and The Affair.

congrats to my old high school on making it to the division 3 state finals in football.

Manchester United takes on West Ham later this morning. i'm really hoping they can get all 3 points today, they certainly need them.

the New Orleans Saints play against the Rams today. they are at home, so i'm hoping the good Saints team shows up today.

the Dayton Flyers play in the 5th place game today out in California against New Mexico. this will certainly be another test for the Flyers shorthanded big men. hopefully they can eek out a victory and have a happy flight home.

later tonight, the New York Rangers take on Ottawa. hopefully they can start another winning streak.

so, if all goes well, i'll be drinking all day long today. the life of a poet.

i will be on here tomorrow after i get back from taking mom to have her first injection done. if all goes well, i should be on here in the afternoon.

i hope everyone had a wonderful Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

the game

being a guy who has lived in the state of Ohio his entire life, today is one of those days that takes me back to when i was a child. the importance of it was made very simply to me. you root for Ohio State or you can find somewhere else to live. now, part of that is a hindsight discussion for another day, but i learned very early that Ohio State vs. the team up north is a matter of life and death, love and hate. and now that i'm 40 and hate nearly everything in that state up north, i understand. this is a day that either brings immense joy or ruins part of your whole god damn life. and i wouldn't have it any other way.

the New York Rangers bounced back yesterday and defeated the Flyers 3-2. The King had 40 saves and looked like he had put the Pittsburgh debacle behind him. they play again on Sunday against Ottawa.

the Dayton Flyers started off much better last night and found a rhythm. now, the defense still has miles to go before they can get to where they need to be, but i'll gladly take a team than can shoot the 3. Dayton defeated Portland last night 84-74. they play tomorrow afternoon against New Mexico in the 5th place game.

i wrote 6 poems last night. i typed them up right after i wrote them. always nice to get that all done in under 60 minutes. i really liked some of the poems. i think i'm going to try to get another round of submissions out before the end of the month.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH.

the rest of today basically depends on what Ohio State does. a win, and i'll be a happy motherfucker for the rest of the day. a loss, and i will be your worst nightmare version of me.

i'm going to try to be on here in the morning tomorrow. Sunday is a bit of a clusterfuck seeing that Manchester United, the New Orleans Saints and Dayton Flyers are all playing right around the same time tomorrow. though i am looking forward to the possibility of drinking the rest of the day away after the games.

i hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. go support your favorite small business. and remember to only fuck the ones that cough.

how capitalism killed "America" Friday

i never have gone shopping on Black Friday. i never have felt the need to. i did get all my shopping done yesterday online, mostly because i don't like people and i'm lazy. the endless commercials and people trampling over people to get whatever is infuriating as much as it is comical. as a poet, i love the chaos. as a human, i often wonder how the fuck all of us are the same species.

the Dayton Flyers started off flat as fuck last night. they couldn't hit the fucking ocean with the ball if they tried. at one point, i believe they were down 21-7. as they usually do, they clawed their way back to tie the game. and like usual, they ran out of gas to be down by 9 at halftime. they hung around in the second half and made a late run, taking the lead in the final 30 seconds of the game. that would be their only lead of the game. Nebraska won 80-78. that means Dayton will play Portland tonight, instead of UCLA. so, that means tonight becomes a MUST WIN game unless you'd like to have one of those "ugly" losses that keeps teams out of the NCAA tournament in March. these last two games have taken a few years off of my life.

thankfully, Manchester United did a much better job earlier in the day. the team played with an urgency that was needed and got some clinical finishing for a change. a 4-0 win over Feyenoord was just what they needed. now they can control their own destiny in the Europa League. the best part of yesterday's game was when the sun actually shined on a dog's ass and Wayne Rooney scored. he's now 1 goal away from being the club leader in goals. the boys take on West Ham next on Sunday.

Life in Pieces was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

the DVR gets the night off tonight.

the New York Rangers play Philadelphia this afternoon. i'd really love to see the boys get back to winning consistently again.

i think i had a pretty productive Thanksgiving. i got mom's laundry done, although i'm not fucking sure where that other sock went. i also got all my Christmas shopping done. thank you Amazon.com.

i think i may try to do some writing today and maybe i'll get drunk enough that i'll actually do a video or something. who knows.

happy thanksgiving

a lesson i learned early in life was just because you are miserable, you don't have to make everyone else miserable. with that in mind, i hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.

the New York Rangers were leading 1-0 last night after the first period. i'm not really sure who was in those blue uniforms after that point as Pittsburgh fucking destroyed them, 6-1. oh well.

the Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving Special was pretty funny last night.

Lucha Underground was good last night. i wouldn't have had Sexy Star lose the title just after one week, but i understand.

NXT was mostly a highlight show from the latest TakeOver. that's not a bad thing.

Total Divas was hilarious last night. when Lana threw the shot put into Natalya's windshield, i laughed my ass off.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Life in Pieces.

Manchester United plays in the Europa League today against Feyenoord. it's at home and it's a MUST WIN game.

the Dayton Flyers play Nebraska tonight out in California. i'm interested to see how the team plays now that they have had a few practices with the smaller lineup. if they can win, they will most likely play UCLA tomorrow.

i imagine i will spend most of the day watching football and finishing up mom's laundry.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling podcast this morning. i highly recommend it. you can find it by going here: http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2016/11/23/wrestling-podcast-109-colt-cabana

i'm also going to try to get at least some of my Christmas shopping done today. god willing, i'll get it all done.

of course it would be raining

i generally hate the holidays. too many god damn memories of dysfunctional families in my youth. plus, being molested by a cousin didn't help matters. so with Thanksgiving tomorrow, i was hoping for a nice and quiet day. i woke up this morning to rain and the trash guy leaving the fucking lid open on the trash can. nothing quite like being pissed off and in pain at 8 in the morning.

i'm busy trying to write this while doing laundry for my mom and talking to my sister on the phone. joy.

The Voice last night was good. the person i thought should have been sent home last week got voted off this week. i was a little shocked with whom she was against in the vote, but i think it's more of people voting against Miley more than anything.

Scream Queens was excellent last night.

Smackdown was really good last night. Dean Ambrose had me laughing the entire night. plus, you know it's a bizarre world when James Ellsworth is 3-0 against AJ Styles.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving Special, Total Divas and Lucha Underground. i'll watch NXT at some point tonight on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Pittsburgh. i would love to see them beat that team again. hopefully i'm enjoying a victory beer later tonight.

tomorrow should be a crazy day, between the football games, Dayton playing Nebraska in a college basketball tournament out in California and Manchester United playing in the Europa League.

and then there's that family shit as well. i figure i will help mom with some of the cooking. we made the ham today. usually my sister will bring food over from next door. and then my sister, mother and i will have a Thanksgiving dinner later in the evening.

i will probably do a little blog in the morning. in case i don't, i hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. safe travels and enjoy the food.

i'll call it punishment

i knew i had to go back to the grocery store to get a few things before Thanksgiving. plus, i had my pills to get. no big deal. i told mom i wanted to go today since it's supposed to rain tomorrow. i told her to put anything she wanted or needed on the list. she handed me back a scroll. i just laughed. my neck started bothering me last night and of course, i'll have to spend more than 30 minutes in the store. these are the days where i am so damn thankful i learned how to find the pleasure in the pain so many years ago.

i managed to keep it all under $130. i guess i was also buying food for my sister to cook while she's down here. she comes down tomorrow and is staying through mom's procedure on Monday. i get the feeling i should have went to the liquor store as well.

when the New York Rangers got down 2-0 last night, i wasn't very happy. when they stormed back to score the next 5 goals, i was really fucking pleased. nothing like whipping the team that knocked you out of the playoffs last season. they will get a chance to do it again tomorrow at home.

Monday Night Raw was pretty damn good last night. the segment between Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens was so damn good. i honestly thought they were breaking up so when it was revealed as a ruse, i laughed my ass off. and when Jericho got involved in the main event between Owens and Rollins wearing a Sin Cara mask, i laughed even harder. that was the guy he reportedly got into a "real" fight with in Europe a few weeks ago. i'm hoping they can take all the positive vibes from this show and carry it to next week.

Gotham was spectacular last night. i love a show where there are so many unexpected twists that keeps me guessing what's next.

The Voice was pretty good last night. some of the performances were amazing, while others just didn't do any thing for me. i have no clue who is getting the boot tonight. here are some of the performances i really enjoyed:

enjoy some music:

i got some great FREE music on NoiseTrade this morning. i'll put the links below in the music section.

i saw that Bruce Arena is the coach of the USMNT now. hopefully he can guide them into the World Cup. they have never been in this position before, losing the first two matches of qualifying.

i didn't sleep well last night. i could never get my neck into a good position that i didn't feel that pinched nerve feeling down my right arm. i figure i either passed out from exhaustion or my brain simply overrode the pain and allowed me to get a few hours.

typing is no joy when it feels like your right arm is radiating.

the Monday blues

i woke up this morning when the phone rang at 8:30 AM. i had been asleep for almost 4 hours. i put on my glasses and looked at the caller i.d. it was the Vietnam Vets. as i walked to the bathroom to take a piss, i muttered that it was times like these that you wish your father would have actually died in the war like he wanted to. welcome to my Monday morning.

the New York Rangers lost to Florida in a shootout last night, 3-2. more importantly, they lost Mika Zibanejad to a broken leg for the next 6 to 8 weeks. fuck, 2 losses in a row and now the bad luck comes back around. oh goody, they play Pittsburgh tonight. fuck me runnin'.

Survivor Series last night was way better than i thought it was going to be. all the matches were interesting and entertaining, a rarity for the WWE anymore. i was very pleased right up until the main event. when Goldberg beat Brock Lesnar in 84 seconds, i was shocked. and that thrilled me as i have been watching wrestling for more than 35 years. the fact that i was shocked means "they" did a good job. i'm very interested to see what happens tonight on Monday Night Raw.

Westworld was very good last night.

Divorce hit a little close to home last night. the debt talk reminded me so much of my father.

Insecure was close to perfect last night. i love shows that are comedies but remember to never sugarcoat the drama.

Shameless was excellent last night.

The Affair was compelling start to holy shit finish last night. i can't wait for another crazy fucking season.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice and Gotham. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i would watch some of the Monday Night Football game but both of my fantasy teams shit the bed yesterday.

a ray of sunshine came through today when USA Soccer relieved Jurgen Klinsmann of his duties. i'm surprised they waited this long to do it. everything i'm hearing is that Bruce Arena will be the next coach. i'm hoping it's a temporary thing, unless of course he guides the team into the World Cup. i'd love to see someone younger get the job and really excite not only the players, but the nation. but the first job of whomever gets the position will be to fix what Jurgen broke. and that is the belief of the players that they are good enough to compete at this level. i know for a fact that Bruce Arena is good at that.

i've actually taken some time in the last 2 days to figure out a few ideas on what to get my mother and sister for Christmas. if any of you would like to be on my Christmas card/goodies list, be sure to send me your mailing addresses so i can add you to the list. my email is jcampb4593@aol.com.

one drink for the victory, one drink for the pain

i like to think of myself as a disciplined alcoholic. but, there are sometimes where you have to give into the demon to control it. it's that delicate balance that i live with now. all the time knowing that my brilliance with any art i do comes in the moments where there is no balance. so, i suppose if there ever is any struggle, it's with the temptation to never go back. good times.

NXT TakeOver: Toronto last night was great. the tag team match between The Revival and #DIY was fucking spectacular. i was so happy for Gargano and Ciampa last night. and i hope The Revival gets the call to go to either Raw or Smackdown, they deserve it. i was a little stunned that Samoa Joe defeated Nakamura, but i guess that sets up another match between them. all in all, a great show that will probably be better than Survivor Series tonight. hopefully, i'm wrong.

Saturday Night Live was hilarious last night. i enjoyed the whole show. two weeks in a row, that has to be a fucking record.

Austin City Limits was really good last night.

ROH was good last night. i do love me a heel Colt Cabana. add that to a feud with Dalton Castle. just take my money now.

it was good to see that the high school i went to has made its 7th straight final four in high school football.

kind of like getting kicked in the nuts

this has been 12 hours or so of sports beating the shit out of me. so, lets go in chronological order.

the New York Rangers decided to be cute last night, instead of using the kiss theory that works so damn well on the road. so of course, they lost 4-2 to Columbus. they play again on Sunday night at home against Florida.

i didn't sleep well at all last night, between the Rangers loss and the fucking cold front that dropped the temperature down into the 20's this morning. i got up in time to watch Manchester United take on Arsenal.

when Juan Mata scored to put Manchester United up, i was very happy. when Arsenal tied the game in the 89th minute, i was fucking pissed. a 1-1 draw in a game that United needed to win, honestly it fucking feels like a loss.

next up, was Ohio State. i didn't get to see any of the game, though i listened to some of it on the way to the basketball game. i guess the game was ugly, but Ohio State defeated Michigan State 17-16. next up is that team up north.

when i pulled up for the basketball game today, i was so happy to see the students lined up halfway around the building waiting to get in while it was snowing. yes, i said snow. the fans were pumped, but sadly, the Dayton Flyers came out flat for most of the first half against #17 Saint Mary's. i would find out after the game why. Dayton was down by as much as 20 points in the second half, but they fought back with a chaotic second half charge. they got so damn close, but in the end, they lost 61-57. i'm not pissed that they had a player panic in the end when they could have had a chance to win. i'm more pissed at the fucking officials who missed the guy taking the ball out of bounds shuffling his feet before he passed the ball in. that's a turnover and Dayton should have had the ball with 13 seconds left and down by 2. i was happy when mom told me the guys on television were pointing it out as well. i found out on the way home that Josh Cunningham, Dayton's starting center that got hurt at Alabama, had surgery yesterday on a torn ligament in his ankle and will most likely miss the rest of the season. so now, Dayton will be playing minus two starting big men until Kendall Pollard comes back. and since he's not supposed to play in the upcoming tournament in Anaheim over Thanksgiving, this team is going to have to learn how to play another style yet again. it's basically Scoochie and Charles Cooke and say a fucking prayer.

NJPW was really good last night.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of reporting.

nothing like a 50 degree temperature drop to start the weekend

it's close to 73 degrees today. i went to the post office in a t-shirt and shorts. come tomorrow morning, i'll have to be in layers. the "experts" are saying it is going to be cold as fuck to start off tomorrow morning, something around 25 degrees or so. i guess i'll turn the furnace back on tonight. fuck. good thing i'm washing my bedding today. i guess winter starts in a few hours.

the New Orleans Saints did fucking nothing for 3 quarters last night. they made a great comeback in the 4th, but just like last week, too little, too late. 2 weeks in a row where a fucking field goal gets blocked. why the fuck does the special teams coach still have a job? the Saints lost 23-20. fuck me.

The Big Bang Theory was very funny last night.

Life in Pieces was fucking hilarious last night.

i did listen to the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast last night. it was glorious. you can listen to it by going here: http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2016/11/17/wrestling-podcast-108-bobby-roode

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and NJPW.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Columbus. it would be nice if they could finish this road trip with a perfect record.

tomorrow is going to be fucking crazy for me. Manchester United plays early in the morning against Arsenal. if United has any desire to finish in the top 4 this season, it is a MUST win game.

at noon, Ohio State plays at Michigan State. it is a MUST win game for Ohio State. i won't get to see much of the game as i will have to leave to go to the Dayton Flyers game.

they play #17 Saint Mary's at 2 in the afternoon. Dayton will be without two interior players because of injury, so i have no clue how they will win this game.

i'll be back home later in the afternoon. so it will be the rare Saturday evening blog, sometime before wrestling starts i suppose.

and it's supposed to be snowing by that time i believe. good times.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. take it easy and then take it again.

busier than 9 cats covering up shit in a windstorm

when mom handed me the grocery list today, i about shit myself. apparently, i'm in charge of Thanksgiving this year. so, i had to get the turkey, the ham, etc., etc. i thought i would never make it out of the grocery store today. apparently, the brilliant fucks in the meat department forgot to put a price on the ham. i'm the typical male shopper, i see it, i put in the cart and move the fuck on. so, this ended up being an extra 15 minutes at checkout waiting for the guy to come back with ham and a price. i kept the total today under $150, so i'm happy.

my sister got let go today at her job. she's been begging for this to happen for years now. apparently she got up to the salary level where it is either you become upper management or get let go. so, i suppose this opens up the way for her to do what she wants now. she's going to get enough money to pay off her condo, so she will more or less be debt free. not a bad way to be before you turn 40.

i sent off 19 poems today; 3 to Pink Litter, 5 to Poetry Pacific and Duane's PoeTree and 6 poems to Sentinel Literary Quarterly. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

American Horror Story was amazing last night. it was yet another crazy finale to go with another crazy season.

You're The Worst was great last night. that season finale couldn't have been better. i can't wait to see where the show goes next season.

Lip Sync Battle was very fucking funny last night.

Total Divas was the usual last night. it looks like it should be another "funny" season.

NXT was good last night. the Takeover event this weekend in Toronto should be amazing.

Lucha Underground was great last night. Aztec Warfare III was fucking crazy.

the New Orleans Saints play tonight at Carolina. i'll be watching, hoping they can get a win on the road.

i didn't get a chance to even start my laundry today, so that will be the goal for tomorrow.

i will probably be on here in the afternoon tomorrow. kind of depends on the crazy ass weather that's supposed to be roaring through here.

that's all for me kids.
