happy dentists make money day

growing up as the heavy kid, there wasn't many costumes you could do. you could always put on a mask and regular clothes. painting the face was always an option, though i was shaving by the age of 12. i remember Halloween being a big deal in the neighborhood i grew up in. and since 2 apartment complexes were nearby as well, it got a little crazy at times. i can recall lines of 10 to 20 kids at a time getting candy at the house. thank god we stopped that shit. i prefer to treat this day as a day to retreat into the dark places in my head. have a little fun with some evil and see what the fuck happens. and now the candy has become liquor. i should have started that sooner as well.

WWE Hell in a Cell was good last night. i would say it was great, but the main event was screwed up by the wrong decision. i have nothing against the WWE "policy" of you lose in your hometown. if it's just a house show or a regular television event, no big deal. but when it's a ppv and a historic match of the first two women EVER to compete in Hell in a Cell, that wasn't the time to have Sasha job to Charlotte. it completely ruined all the good feelings the show had built up over the previous 3 to 4 hours. match of the night for me was Owens vs. Rollins. the match had everything. not quite a 5 star classic, but easily a good holy shit match.

the season finale of The Strain was fucking crazy last night. at least i know what the first stage of the nuclear holocaust might look like.

Westworld was excellent last night. Divorce was very funny last night. Insecure was fucking hilarious. Shameless was excellent as always last night. Masters of Sex was very interesting. and finally, Last Week Tonight was great as usual.

the New York Rangers whipped Tampa Bay last night, 6-1. while it's still early in the season, this is the best i've seen the Rangers offense in years. hopefully they start another winning streak.

the New Orleans Saints held on for an important victory yesterday against Seattle. the defense was amazing in the second half and the offense scored on its final 6 possessions. that's how you get a big victory, 25-20.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and Gotham. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

today has been one of those days where i just haven't felt like doing a fucking thing. i was going to do a YouTube video but then i couldn't decide which poem i wanted to do. i was going to write, but the poem in my fucking head doesn't have an ending yet. i'm figuring i'm at the point where i probably need a mental release and (hopefully) everything will fall back into place.

i might check out some of the Monday Night Football game tonight, mostly just for fantasy football purposes.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone had a wonderful Sunday. enjoy the rest of your Halloween. go scare the shit out of someone, literally.

with rain off in the distance

i woke up this morning with that all too common ache in my bones. i knew rain was in the area. the "experts" said there are supposed to be some showers in the afternoon. i'll probably be beyond miserable by then.

Ohio State played down to the competition yesterday and won 24-20 over Northwestern. i honestly think the offense is beyond fucking lost at this point. and you can tell the defense is at the point where they are wondering when the fuck the offense is going to do something to pick them up. they will have to be better next week if they think they are going to beat Nebraska.

Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

ROH was really good last night.

the Bill Murray: Mark Twain Prize special last night was great. and also, it is well deserved.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of The Strain, Westworld, Divorce, Insecure, Last Week Tonight, Shameless and Masters of Sex.

i'll be watching WWE Hell in a Cell for most of the evening. no matter how bad Monday Night Raw has been, this, at least on paper, has everything you need to be a great ppv.

the Sacramento Kings won last night, 106-103 over the Timberwolves. they are now 2-1 on the season. i'm hoping against hope that they can keep it up.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Tampa Bay. hopefully the boys can start a new winning streak tonight.

congratulations to my sister on passing her test this morning. she's now a step closer to getting a job she might actually enjoy.

the New Orleans Saints play at home today against Seattle. hopefully the Saints can get a victory today. i certainly could use a drink.

i hope everyone had an excellent Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

i'm getting too old to have my blood boiling these days...

before i get into detail about the Manchester United debacle this morning, a little poetry news to pass on.

around 2 in the morning or so, i sent out 14 poems; 3 to Mad Swirl, 5 to Easy Street and 6 to Bad Acid Laboratories. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

ok, let the ranting begin. i will first start off by saying Burnley's goalkeeper was fucking amazing today. he made some tremendous saves. Manchester United had 36 fucking shots in the game, i believe 11 or 12 of them were on target. they also had something like 19 or 20 corner kicks as well. United dominated the whole damn game, even when they were down to 10 men. they played the entire second half with The Special One watching from the stands. that brings me to the asshole referee, Mark Clattenburg. what a fucking prick. i can't stand any fucking official that makes the game about him. i think he has sent off 5 United players in the last 6 seasons or something like that. i wouldn't be pissed if Ander Herrera would have actually earned the second yellow card. he slips, doesn't make any contact, but the Burnley player goes down, off you go. Clattenburg was more or less giving the game to Burnley and i don't believe David de Gea had to make a save in the game. they were more interested in just getting a point and rejoicing in mediocrity. a 0-0 draw that included United hitting one post and the crossbar. what a fucking frustrating way to start the fucking weekend.

Vice News Tonight was excellent once again last night.

NJPW was great last night. they showed Shinsuke Nakamura's last match in NJPW. that was awesome to see.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Austin City Limits, ROH and Bill Murray: Mark Twain Prize.

the New York Rangers lost last night 3-2 to a shitty Carolina team. no matter what fucking year it is, somehow Jeff Skinner beats the shit out of us every fucking time we play that team. and it's painfully clear, the Rangers need young and good defensemen NOW.

Ohio State will try to rebound from last week's loss today when they play Northwestern. given my mood right now, i'm hoping it's one of those games they take a team out behind the woodshed and just fucking destroy them.

i believe my sister has to take a test today. she's in the process of becoming a sommelier. i'm hoping she does well. that might give the rest of the family a chance to not hear her bitch about her job any longer.

ok, that's all for me kids. i hope everyone has a great Saturday. if you're doing some Halloween shit today, be safe, enjoy the candy and most of all... only fuck the ones that cough.

surviving the road filled with elderly drivers

i had to take some paperwork for mom over to the doctor's office this afternoon. i figured i would do the grocery shopping afterwards. the drive over to the office wasn't bad, but the drive to the grocery store from there was fucking nuts. between farm equipment, construction, and some old fucker driving 20 miles per hour under the speed limit, my patience was severely being tested. one good thing, i did get gas for under $1 a gallon today. that's the good thing about getting gas at the same place you get your groceries and pills. so, other than the old lady cutting me off in the grocery store parking lot, it was a decent afternoon. i got everything i needed in the store, other than my favorite spiced rum. apparently, they don't sell it anymore. so i got some Bacardi Gold instead.

my sister is down here for a couple days i guess. so, i won't be drinking alone i suppose.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night. i learned more than i really ever needed to know about emojis.

The Big Bang Theory was hilarious last night.

Life in Pieces had me howling with laughter last night.

Better Things was very funny and also a harrowing look back into my teen years. heartbreak was the end of the world, i remember that so well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and NJPW.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Carolina. hopefully i will be enjoying a victory beer tonight.

the Sacramento Kings had their home opener last night. i didn't get to see much of the game. they lost to San Antonio 102-94, which was much closer than i thought it was going to be.

i think i'm going to do a little poetry work tonight, figure out where i'll be sending some poems late tonight or tomorrow morning.

i'll be on here after Manchester United plays in the morning. Ohio State plays in the afternoon, so i have a nice window to write.

the weather is supposed to take another turn back to summer this weekend. i know there will be many happy people in costumes. i remember that i had a winter coat on for most of my youth while trick or treating. i think they said it was going to be near 80 this weekend. good thing global warming is just a myth.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. call if you need bail money.

idle thoughts on a cloudy day

i think i woke up every 2 hours or so last night. i knew it was raining and i was having some weird ass dreams. ex-lovers trying to kill me with the bones of animals, movie stars complimenting me on my poetry, a woman cornering me in the grocery store to show me a birthmark of my beard on her ass... you know, shit like that. today has been one of those days where i'm just swimming in the void, hoping to either hit shore or just fucking drown already.

the New York Rangers got scored on 10 seconds into the game last night. it was 2-0 by the end of the first period. i was not a happy man. 5 consecutive goals later, i was feeling much better. the Rangers beat the Bruins last night, 5-2. it's odd to actually see a power play that works. i don't think i've seen that on a Rangers team in over a decade.

i did catch the last few minutes of the Sacramento Kings defeating Phoenix 113-94 last night. i guess they actually played some defense last night. that's what has been missing for years. the home opener is tonight against the Spurs. if they somehow win that one and i might drink myself blind.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night.

Lip Sync Battle was fucking hilarious last night.

American Horror Story was great last night. that was the bloodiest episode i can ever remember in the history of the show.

You're The Worst was awesome last night. it's the second time this season they have devoted an entire episode to minor characters. i wish more shows took those chances.

Any Given Wednesday was really good last night.

Total Bellas was kind of depressing last night. i sort of know the kind of shit Daniel Bryan is going through. depression is not an easy thing to handle, especially when you're being filmed at the same time.

NXT was really good last night. i can't wait to see Mickie James take on Asuka. and the second round of the Dusty Rhodes tag team classic looks to be very interesting.

Lucha Underground was very good last night as well.

enjoy some music:

a happy man, for now...

what a difference a few days make. sure, Manchester City was not at full strength and was mostly disinterested for most of the game, but i'll gladly take the fucking win. i thought Manchester United played much better in the second half and they got rewarded for it. a little luck and United scores more than the Juan Mata goal. but, it's that goal that knocks Manchester City out of the EFL Cup, so i'll gladly drink to that. United will play West Ham in the quarterfinals.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night. the piece on the PTSD involving guards from Gitmo was fascinating.

Atlanta was fucking hilarious last night. thank god i'm not one of those white people.

Smackdown was really good last night.

The Voice was great once again last night.

i did watch a good portion of the Cavs game last night. i certainly never thought i'd see the day that team would be presented with championship rings.

i also watched a portion of game 1 of the World Series last night. i doubt Cleveland will ever have a better night of sports for the rest of the time earth exists.

enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lip Sync Battle, American Horror Story, You're The Worst, Any Given Wednesday, Total Bellas and Lucha Underground. at some point tonight i'll watch NXT on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers take on the Boston Bruins tonight. i'll try to watch a good portion of that as well.

also, the Sacramento Kings start their season tonight on the road against Phoenix. i'm interested to see how yet another new coach does with the Kings. they might have a chance to be decent this season if they actually play defense.

i had to go to the store today to get mom's next round of medications. she got a message today that her latest FMLA didn't get approved. i told her that since she's starting to cost the insurance company money, they are going to fuck with her every chance they get. still no update on the search for a specialist. i figure all these fuckers are waiting for the first of the year and then they'll call. that way the patient has to foot the bill.

i did write 3 poems this afternoon. i typed them up before the game and i really like them. i've got a little stack now, so i should be sending out another round of submissions in the next few days.

that's all for me today kids. take it easy and then take it again.

when the days just start running together

when the weather cools down and the sunshine appears to be hiding for most of the day, the blahs tend to start coming out and the days just run together. sprinkle in some apathy and a heavy disdain for life, and you have the recipe for depression my friends. i try to keep myself busy, which tends to keep me from thinking. or diving too deep into this vast unknown swimming in my head. of course, that means i spend most of the day just listening to music or reading old magazines. i imagine if i had money, my day would be spent doing other things.

there wasn't much of Monday Night Raw that was good last night. i enjoyed the brawl between Owens and Rollins that ended the show. i also enjoyed the contract signing for the first ever women's hell in a cell match. other than that, the show stunk. and that's not a good sign with a ppv coming up on Sunday.

The Voice entered the knockout stage last night. some of the performances were fucking amazing.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night.

Gotham was spectacular last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Voice and Atlanta.

the NBA season starts tonight as does the World Series. just a few months ago i was exactly where most of the eyes of the sports world will be tonight. Cleveland, Ohio. the Cavs will be hoisting the championship banner at the same time the Indians will be playing the Cubs in the World Series. talk about a clear sign the world is coming to an end.

here's some artwork from the Swedish genius Janne Karlsson, with lines taken straight from this blog:

i'll be on here tomorrow, probably right after the Manchester United game with Manchester City ends. the latest edition of the Manchester derby comes in the EFL Cup. i believe this is the round of 16 or something like that. i have no damn clue how United is going to play after the Chelsea debacle. hopefully i'll be in a good mood. if not, simply expect a few lines of expletives. and then a few more.

days when the 8 year old me was truly a soothsayer...

when Chelsea scored just 30 seconds into the game against Manchester United yesterday, i knew i was in for a Sunday i didn't want to see. by the time they scored the second goal, i was already flipping through the channels to see what else was on, other than NFL pregame shows. i didn't bother to watch the third and fourth goals Chelsea scored as i was basically going over my fantasy football teams again and seriously wondering if i should just become a Real Madrid fan. add on top to the humiliating loss an injury to their best center back and it really feels like this is going to be one of those losses that the club will feel for weeks. not good.

next up was the New Orleans Saints. they started off strong but penalties were holding them back. and as usual, the penalties would happen at the wrong damn time and soon enough, the Saints were down 21-7. they made a furious comeback, but ultimately lost 27-21. this was one of those games that i'll shake my head at at the end of the season and think what could have been.

by this time i was numb and ready to take a nap. just as i was falling asleep watching the outdoor hockey game in Winnipeg, i could hear mom calling my name from the bathroom. for a second i thought i was dreaming it. i got out of my chair and went to the bathroom and opened the door. she had fallen in the shower. she said she didn't hit her head but i could tell this wasn't exactly good for her back. the stubborn old bitch wouldn't allow me to help her other than get her some towels to dry off and her walker so she could get herself back up. about 10 minutes later, she made it back up and was back into the bed.

a little side note here... i woke up this morning and my door was open. i was 99.9% sure it was closed when i went to sleep. i asked mom about it this morning and she said she opened it at 5 in the morning when she thought i had said something to her. she said she was more or less sleepwalking. so, it looks like i'll be getting even less sleep than i normally do now. good times.

the New York Rangers won last night 3-2 over Arizona. Dan Girardi scored the winning goal in the 3rd. that's the human equivalent to a blind squirrel finding a nut. but, i enjoyed the victory beer just the same. god knows, i needed it.

Westworld was excellent last night. the ending was spectacular. Divorce was pretty funny last night. Insecure was hilarious. The Strain was fucking awesome last night. i can't wait for the season finale next week. Shameless was great as usual. Masters of Sex was pretty good last night. and finally, Last Week Tonight was brilliant as usual.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice and Gotham. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i probably should watch some of the Monday Night Football game, for fantasy football purposes, but i probably won't.

so i went out to Meijer today to find some things to make the shower more safe for mom. plus, i had a $5 off coupon that expired today. i found a few things that will hopefully work. i also bought myself some creepy Halloween shit and some baseball cards. plus, i got a Star Wars pillow that's comfortable as hell. i figure, i might as well embrace my inner geek now, who the fuck do i need to impress really? i'm 40 and single with no hope of that ending anytime soon, good or bad. so, fuck it.

i truly hope all of you had a better Sunday than i did. if you didn't, i would suggest drinking more and playing with weapons. you might die or you might become famous. that's one hell of a coin flip.

anger, hello once again

when you live and die with sports teams, anger has a certain way of just draining everything out of you.

Ohio State was cruising along last night, up 21-7. then, they made the horrific mistake that young teams do sometimes, and took their foot off the gas. as someone who has watched sports for 40 years now, i knew what was coming next. sure enough, Penn State defeated Ohio State last night 24-21. it was a comedy of fucking errors on special teams and the offensive line that did the Buckeyes in. plus, the coach had a rare shitty night as well. now, i wonder how far they fall in the polls.

the New York Rangers were down 2-0 after the first period last night. i wasn't a happy man. by the end of the second period, i was very happy. the Rangers scored 3 goals in the 2nd and went on to defeat Washington 4-2 last night. that's a good character builder that they should be able to use all season long. they play again tonight at home against Arizona.

the Red and Blue Game yesterday at the University of Dayton was good. the women's team is going through a little rebuilding stage now that the longtime coach has left. they still have some good players, but i could see them struggling some this upcoming season. the men's team looked really good. they have 4 talented seniors that should carry the load most of the season. the biggest surprise for me was how much better the sophomore class looked. they looked like they are really ready to contribute. here are some highlights from yesterday:

after the game, i had to go to the grocery store to get more of mom's medications. the pharmacy closed at 6, so i was in a bit of a hurry. nothing i hate more than shitty drivers when i have somewhere to be. thankfully, i got there in plenty of time. and then i brought home some food for mom and i, a late lunch i guess.

Saturday Night Live was really good last night.

Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

ROH was really good last night as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Strain, Shameless, Masters of Sex, Westworld, Divorce, Insecure and Last Week Tonight.

Manchester United plays at Chelsea later this morning. this is a big game, not only for the club but also for The Special One. hopefully i'm enjoying a victory beer later today.

the New Orleans Saints play at the Chiefs today. i'm hoping for the best but i'm a realist. they are a different team outside of the dome.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

always nice to start the weekend with some poems

i woke up this Saturday morning with a poem swimming in my mind. there was this striking, beautiful woman yesterday in the grocery store that i knew i had to write about. i chose to get a little sleep before i wrote about it though. so, after about 5 hours, i got up and picked up my pen. i ended up writing three poems, which i typed up this morning. i really like all 3. i have no clue where i will send them though. i'm waiting to see if any poems get accepted in my latest round of submissions.

the grocery store was a little interesting yesterday. certainly enough characters that i should be able to write a few more poems. mom didn't have much laundry for me to do when i got back home, so that was a breeze to get done.

Vice News Tonight was excellent once again last night.

NJPW was great last night. i never get tired of watching Okada defeat Tanahashi.

the season finale of High Maintenance last night was excellent. i can't wait to see what they come up with for season 2.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits and ROH.

i'll be going to the annual Red and Blue Game today at the University of Dayton. this will be the first year in a long time i'll be going alone. it will be nice to see some college basketball once again. this will be the first time the men have taken the court since Big Steve died, so i'm expecting some emotions today. here are some highlights from last season's game:

when i get back home tonight, i'll be watching Ohio State play at Penn State.

also, the New York Rangers play tonight at Washington. tonight would be a good night for that first road win.

i'm going to try to be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays at Chelsea. that game will go right into the New Orleans Saints game tomorrow afternoon.

in quiet moments alone

my poem "in quiet moments alone" has been published in The Bones of Nirvana, a new book from the Swedish genius Janne Karlsson. for more info on the book, go here:
http://www.svenskapache.se/?page_id=270

also included in the book are poems from Wolfgang Carstens, Jenny Santellano, Adrian Manning, Scott Wozniak and Ally Malinenko just to name a few. in all, 56 pages of brilliant madness.

here's a sample of part of my poem:
to check out more of Janne's work, go to his blog: http://nouw.com/svenskapache

so that's what a crisp breeze feels like...

i woke up this morning on the other side of the bed. i guess i'm immune to the pain i feel anymore, but i certainly was tossing and turning all night long. i checked the rain gauge this morning and we had another inch. that's over 2 inches in under 36 hours. misery, my old friend.

mom wanted Taco Bell last night, so i went out in the pouring rain to go get it. part of me believes i'm getting closer to achieving sainthood.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night. i'm happy that HBO is putting the full episodes up on their YouTube page.

Better Things was fucking hilarious last night. it also reminded me why i stopped going to church.

Fuck, That's Delicious was great last night. the episode ended with the new video from Action Bronson. as soon as i heard the beat, i had to go buy the song.

i'm doing this blog now as i know i'm going to be busy the rest of the day. i need to take a shower, do mom's laundry and go grocery shopping. good times.

we got over an inch of rain last night. i'm pretty sure we've got over another inch today. i didn't sleep much at all last night. i had to be up this morning to drive mom to the doctor. right before we were leaving, she got a message from her director at her job saying the doctor never sent in the FMLA paperwork, so her leave has been denied. as you might imagine, mom was fucking pissed beyond belief. i guess the doctor and his nurse both apologized profusely for the fuck up during the appointment. the doctor has written mom off work for the rest of the year as she is still trying to find a specialist for her condition. she's hoping to get the guy that did my back 8 years ago as it appears he's the only fucker around here that is board certified.

for some reason, ever since i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, i believe i have only had 1 solid shit. if the poems take an angry fucking turn, you'll understand why.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night.

Any Given Wednesday was very good last night.

Lip Sync Battle was very fucking funny last night.

American Horror Story was excellent last night. i wasn't sure where the show was going to go at first, but i am certainly excited to see how it ends now.

You're The Worst was great last night. the old adage is always true with therapy, it all starts when you're a child.

Total Bellas was pretty good last night.

NXT was good last night. i'm really happy that Roderick Strong has made it to NXT finally.

Lucha Underground was really, really good last night.

the New York Rangers once again managed to dominate an opponent and find a way to lose last night. they outplayed Detroit all damn night and lost 2-1.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Better Things and Fuck, That's Delicious.

Manchester United welcomed back RVP to Old Trafford today as United was playing Fenerbahce in Europa League action. RVP did score and got a well deserved round of applause from the fans, but it was Paul Pogba that stole the show today. he truly showed glimpses of why United spent all that money to get him. Pogba scored 2, Martial and Lingard got the other goals as United won 4-1. they next play at Chelsea on Sunday.

i will probably watch some of the football game tonight between Chicago and Green Bay. i do have one fantasy player going tonight.

i'm not sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. i need to go grocery shopping and i know mom needs her laundry done as well. good times.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

got a haircut today...

got a haircut today from a woman that i don't think believes in climate change. but, it's amazing the amount of bullshit i'll put up with from a beautiful woman. if we do meet again Casey, i'll do a better job of explaining why you should be concerned of warmer weather all year round.

of course, being out of the house for a few minutes today was good. sadly, i had nearly 100 emails when i got back home. it never fails.

Vice News Tonight was excellent last night.

The Voice finished the battle rounds last night. if the next round is as good as this was, this could be the best season of The Voice ever.

Smackdown was pretty good last night. i enjoyed the main event more than i probably should have. and Dean Ambrose might have just jumped his way into my top 10 wrestlers of all time when he buried John Cena when he declared James Ellsworth the winner by DQ last night. that's a good way to keep two feuds burning at once, AJ Styles and John Cena. all in all, a very good show.

Scream Queens was fucking hilarious last night.

Atlanta was brilliant once again. it also reminded me why i quit going to clubs in my 20's.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lucha Underground, Lip Sync Battle, American Horror Story, You're The Worst, Total Bellas and Any Given Wednesday. at some point tonight i'll watch NXT on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Detroit. hopefully i'll be enjoying a victory beer later on tonight.

i am thrilled that this fucking election cycle in this country is nearly fucking over. as someone who can't stand the political process, it's fucking unbearable.

i'm not sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. i have to take mom to the doctor in the morning and Manchester United plays in the Europa League in the afternoon. if all goes well, maybe after the game i'll be on here. of course, when the fuck is that the case?

that's all for me kids. take it easy and then take it again.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

and here comes another cold front

nothing like going out to get the paper in the morning and it's in the 70's at 8 AM in mid-October. i guess the next two days are supposed to be shitty and rainy. a massive cold front is supposed to go through and actually usher in fall weather, for at least a few weeks i guess.

Manchester United started off on fire yesterday. they really pressed Liverpool and caught them off guard. sadly, they only got a few chances to actually get something like a goal, but nothing really came close. so when that didn't work, i figured The Special One was going to do what The Special One does, bunker in. sure enough United gave their best defensive effort of the season in a 0-0 draw. considering the draw kept Liverpool from going to the top of the league, i'll consider it a win.

the New York Rangers got 7 goals last night from 7 different players to beat San Jose 7-4. the defense still needs to get better, but if this offense can stay like this all season, i certainly won't get bored anytime soon.

i didn't watch much of Monday Night Raw last night. seeing that i'm not a big Goldberg fan, i know i didn't miss much. i got to see everything that went down with Jericho, Owens and Rollins, so i'm good.

The Voice was really, really good last night.

Gotham was spectacular last night.

The Big Bang Theory was very funny last night.

Vice News Tonight was excellent once again. i had no clue i should have been watching Melrose Place back in the 90's.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice, WWE Smackdown, Scream Queens and Atlanta.

since the weather is supposed to be shitty the next few days, i went to the bank today. i always laugh when i have to show my ID when depositing cash. today i had a check for over $400 and a roll of pennies. sure enough, i have to break out my driver's license for the pennies. what a world.

the trash is all picked up and i could use a nap, so that's all for today.
