the good part about being an asshole

when i heard it start to rain last night, i was happy i already had 3 victory beers in me. of course, i didn't sleep well. apparently i need to switch to just liquor.

mom got her diagnosis finally. spinal stenosis and multiple spinal protrusions. in common words, she has 3 bulging discs and her spinal column is narrowing more than what is normal. i figure that probably has something to do with her hip being fucked up as well. so now i think we have to wait for a visit to a specialist and then it will be interesting to see where they go from there. physical therapy or surgery?

the New York Yankees won last night, 5-1 to finish off the sweep of Boston. of course, Baltimore won last night, so the Yankees were eliminated from having a chance to make the playoffs. the final series of the season starts tonight at home against the Orioles. my only hope left is that they sweep Baltimore and knock them out of making the playoffs as well.

the New York Rangers won last night, 3-1 over the Devils. i'm getting the feeling that this could be a pretty interesting season.

Better Things was fucking great last night.

i watched Fuck, That's Delicious this afternoon. this time they were in Barcelona, another city i'll probably never get to go to. it was fucking hilarious as always.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and High Maintenance. i might watch some college football tonight as well, Stanford at Washington.

i had to go to 3 places today to get the grocery shopping done. it was pouring just about the entire fucking time. my arthritis really didn't start to flare up until the 3rd place. that made going through the grocery store pretty eventful. i must have been wearing my pain on my face, as most people simply got the fuck out of my way as i was going down the aisles. and of course, the store had been ransacked by the elderly in the morning and now they were back to get free samples, i.e. having dinner. thankfully, i had enough coupons to get my total under $200. even mom was impressed by that when i got back home. at least the freezer is now full and we shouldn't have to go out to eat that often for the next few weeks.

i have no clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. i'm shooting for the morning as Ohio State plays at noon. if the morning doesn't happen, it will probably be afternoon or something like that.

i have to go now help mom with dinner and figure out what vegetable to make with ribs and mashed potatoes.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. i hope everyone got the most they could have out of September. hard to fucking believe that tomorrow starts October.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

still waiting to see the sun

we ended up with 1.7 inches of rain yesterday. today was nothing but clouds all damn day. not really the kind of day i can get excited for.

the New York Yankees won a game last night out of nowhere. sadly, Baltimore won earlier in the night, which clinched the division for Boston and also put the Yankees on the brink of elimination. after 8 innings, they were losing 3-0 and only had 1 hit. so, for them to win 5-3 on a walk off grand slam from Mark Teixeira was shocking to say the least. that at least keeps the Yankees alive for another day. they will go for the sweep of Boston tonight.

Lucha Underground was really good last night. so was NXT. it's a good time to be a pro wrestling fan.

American Horror Story was fucking fantastic last night. it's getting really fucking weird. and the best thing is it is inspired from a true story.

You're The Worst was brilliant last night. it was the best episode of any show EVER to realistically show what PTSD is truly like. and for it to come from a crude comedy made it even better in my mind.

Any Given Wednesday was pretty interesting last night as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Better Things.

i did listen to the latest Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast today. it was excellent as always. you can listen to it by going here: http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2016/9/29/wrestling-podcast-101

Manchester United won today 1-0 in the Europa League. the score should have been higher but lady luck was not on their side today. but you know who was...

i'll be watching the football game tonight between the Dolphins and Bengals mostly because of my fantasy football teams. hopefully, i get off to a good start for a change.

i believe the New York Rangers play tonight as well. i'll have to hunt for those highlights since the NHL still believes in the archaic blackout rules.

i have to go to the grocery store tomorrow, so i'm thinking i'll be blogging before that.

i have to go make dinner, so that's all for today. for those of you wondering, still no word from the doctor's office on my mother's MRI. welcome to the house of frustration.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

the first of how many days of rain...

around 3 in the morning, right after i was blowing up my fantasy football teams, i felt a pain in the back of my head that went all the way down to my toes. i knew it was either death or rain. when i woke up this morning able to move, i knew for sure it was rain. it has been raining all day long here. we're already closing in on 2 inches of it. thank god i don't live on the farm anymore. these are the days around the harvest where you just see thousands of dollars going away.

the New York Yankees showed a little pride last night and defeated Boston, 6-4. that ended Boston's winning streak. hopefully the Yankees win again tonight. the last thing i want to see is Boston celebrating on that field. Gary Sanchez tied the major league record last night for the quickest anyone has ever got to 20 home runs.

the New York Rangers defeated the Islanders last night in the first pre-season hockey game of the season, 5-2. from the highlights i saw, the power play looked good and so did the new additions. hopefully that's a sign of things to come.

The Voice was pretty good last night.

it's amazing to me how much better Smackdown is than Monday Night Raw these days. i mean, light years better now. the show last night was damn near perfect.

Scream Queens was fucking hilarious last night.

Atlanta was brilliant. that show reminds me of so many people i grew up with.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Lucha Underground, American Horror Story, You're The Worst and Any Given Wednesday. i'll be watching NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i might have some good news to share regarding my poetry by the end of the week. keep your eyes out for that.

i really need to take a shower, so that's all for today. i will most likely be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the Europa League. hopefully i'll be in a good mood.

when you get too much sleep

and the funny thing, you probably read that headline and thought, 10, 11 hours or something... no, i got roughly 6.5 hours of sleep and have been dragging all damn day. not even coffee could get me going. eventually, i did just kick myself in the ass and got on with the day.

i sent out 10 poems today; 5 each to Because Eileen and Misfit Magazine. when i hear back from these places, i'll pass along the verdicts.

the New York Yankees finally got a win last night in a bench clearing, wild fucking game. they beat Toronto 7-5, although they nearly pissed away another game in the bottom of the 9th. thankfully, they are now home for the rest of the season. they start a series tonight with Boston.

apparently getting two straight games of great defense from the New Orleans Saints is simply too much to ask for. between the fucking injuries and piss poor tackling, Atlanta did whatever the fuck they wanted last night. the Saints lost 45-32.

i lost both of my fantasy football matches. the one that stung the worst was the one i lost by 1.37 points. my teams are now 0-3 and 1-2. i told my mother, if this keeps up, this might be the year i say goodbye to fantasy football.

i thought The Voice was pretty good last night.

Monday Night Raw was the clusterfuck it normally is last night. i did like the cruiserweights getting a bigger spotlight last night. plus, Kevin Owens is pure gold. the feud with Seth Rollins has the chance to be fucking great. hopefully the powers that be don't fuck that up as well.

The Big Bang Theory was fucking hilarious last night.

Gotham was off the charts great. the show just keeps getting better.

on the DVR tonight will be WWE Smackdown, The Voice, Scream Queens and Atlanta.

i haven't heard yet what mom's MRI showed. i'm not even sure if she's called the doctor yet. she's mostly just been in bed all day long.

i never knew the crack of dawn was so painful

at least i got somewhere near 5 hours of sleep before i woke up at 5:30 this morning. i know mom wanted to leave around 6 or so. what i didn't know was that there was rain in the area. so, to say i was dragging with arthritis gnawing at me would be an understatement. but, we made it to the place on time. the MRI went well. the results should be known by tomorrow.

while in the waiting area, i wrote 8 poems. i typed them up once we got back home. thankfully, i had most of them typed up before it started pouring. i really liked a few of the poems.

the New York Yankees at least scored yesterday. and they even took the lead in the 9th. but, when you overuse your bullpen all season long, it will come back to haunt you at the end. and sure enough... the Yankees lost yesterday 4-3. they will try to avoid the four game sweep later tonight. thankfully, this season will be over soon.

WWE Clash of Champions last night was almost just a longer version of Monday Night Raw. a few of the matches were really good, but nothing jumped out as holy shit, that was great. i'm sure tonight will just be more of the same.

the season finale of Power was fucking great. they have done a fabulous job each season with the finale. i can't wait to see what happens in 2017. the season finale of Ballers was hilarious. The Strain was great as usual last night. Masters of Sex was really good. and finally, Last Week Tonight was brilliant as usual:

i'm trailing in both of my fantasy league games. i really need Drew Brees to have a monster night tonight for me to even really have a chance.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, Gotham and The Big Bang Theory. i will be flipping between Monday Night Raw and the New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons tonight. and hopefully avoiding the fucking debate completely.

finally, the weather actually is starting to feel like fall. there is actually some crisp to the wind. i was able to finally turn off the air conditioning and open some windows.

if i'm not too exhausted tomorrow, i will be sending out some poems.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

this fleeting mystery called life

so i woke up this morning to the news of Jose Fernandez dying in a boating accident. i was just talking about him a couple of days ago with some Yankees fans wondering what prospects the Yankees should give up to get him. just 24 years old and an electric arm. he didn't even make it to his prime, where he would have easily been one of the best pitchers in the history of the majors. my condolences to his family, his friends, his teammates and anyone who actually still loved the game of baseball.

the New York Yankees lost yesterday 3-0. yet another game with just 3 hits. this was the first time they had been shut out 3 games in a row since 1975. thankfully, this season will be over soon.

i did flip around and watch some college football last night. i even watched a little UFC. but most of the evening was watching the Global Citizen Festival.

ROH last night was excellent. i'll never get bored of watching Adam Cole wrestle.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finales of Power and Ballers; The Strain, Masters of Sex and Last Week Tonight. i have no clue how much of that i will actually watch since i have to be up before the crack of dawn to take mom to get her MRI done.

also tonight, WWE Clash of Champions will be on WWE Network. i figure i will watch that, even though i'm sure the writers will find a way to fuck it up.

the New Orleans Saints don't play until Monday night, so i'll probably just flip between games today. mostly just watching the guys on my fantasy teams. i'm a slight favorite in one and a 60 point underdog in the other. good times.

the Taco Bell yesterday didn't destroy me, yet. although, i did take too big of a bite on some spicy cheese and oh shit, i thought death was coming my way.

i did do a little poetry work last night. i got 10 poems together to send out sometime in the next few days.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

thine eyes have seen the glory

so i woke up early this morning, wondering just what Manchester United team i would see. the first thing i heard was that Wayne Rooney was on the bench. i was delighted for as much as i love Wayne, his time as a starter is quickly coming to an end. when the game started, United was a little tentative until they scored. a Chris Smalling header put them ahead 1-0. then, the team started to show glimpses of the Manchester United teams from the past. they were marauding forward with glee. Juan Mata scored next on a wonderful bit of play between him, Pogba and Lingard. Rashford scored a few minutes later on another corner kick. and then, just 2 minutes after that, Paul Pogba scored his first Manchester United goal. 4-0 at halftime and it could have been more. this was the best half i had seen United play since the days of Sir Alex. they ended up winning the game 4-1 over Leicester City. now that's how i love to start my weekend.

the New York Yankees got killed last night, 9-0. i think they had 3 hits in the game. i don't expect it to be much better today in Toronto. thankfully, the season will be over soon.

NJPW was excellent last night.

High Maintenance was fucking great last night. oh how i miss smoking weed.

i did write 5 poems last night. i typed them up and i really like a couple of them. i'm probably going to send out another submission before the end of the month.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be ROH. i'll probably be flipping between college football and the 2016 Global Citizen Festival for most of the day.

if the weather is nice enough today, i might actually go out and feed the birds.

for some reason, mom wants Taco Bell for lunch today. so, i know where i'm going this afternoon. yes, you're correct... the toilet.

i hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday. call if you need bail money.

searching for frozen food on a hot day

it never fails. i have a plan for getting through the grocery store in a decent amount of time and sure enough... they changed the aisles for the frozen foods. i couldn't find this chicken i had a coupon for and after about 10 minutes of realizing i'm a crazy person, i headed to checkout. between gas, pills and food today, i probably spent $170. damn good thing she's paying me back for all of this.

the New York Yankees pissed away a chance to make up ground in the playoff chase last night, leaving a small village on base while losing to Tampa Bay 2-0. they start a series up in Toronto tonight. as one of the outfielders said after the game, all the Yankees have to do is win 11 games out of the next 10 they play to make the playoffs. the reporters laughed as everyone knows, it might as well be over. i figure the Blue Jays will do everything they can to put the nails in the coffin this weekend.

team USA lost to team Czech Republic last night, 4-3, to finally end their stay in the World Cup of Hockey. it's the first time EVER the USA hasn't won a game at a international tournament. i think it might be time to blow it up and start over. you can't win much when your leading goal scorer is a defenseman with 2 goals in 3 games.

Fuck, That's Delicious was excellent last night.

Better Things was truly fucking great last night.

i picked New England to beat Houston last night, but i didn't think they would whip them like they did. i guess that's further proof that Tom Brady is a system quarterback if just about anyone can lead them to a victory.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and High Maintenance.

i'm going to try to get to bed at a decent hour tonight since Manchester United plays tomorrow morning early as fuck. i will probably be on here after that, hopefully in a good mood.

the pills finally started to work for mom again. she hasn't been in as much pain today as the last couple days. hopefully that MRI on Monday clears a path to her getting better soon.

i might try to get a little writing done tonight as well. i've got a couple poems swimming up in my head that i really need to get out.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. take it easy and then take it again.

the first day of i hope it cools down someday soon

we're in the midst of a week or so of temps in the mid 80's with just enough humidity so it feels like shit. sadly, it's what is becoming more like fall weather than anything. it will be fall here just long enough for the leaves to come off the trees and then it will be time for winter. good thing global warming is a myth.

the New York Yankees won again last night, 11-5. Gary Sanchez set the major league record for the fastest anyone has got to 19 home runs in modern day baseball (45 games). the argument for him to be the rookie of the year is getting stronger. the Yankees will go for the sweep of Tampa tonight.

the finale of Big Brother last night was really good. as soon as Paul won the last HOH of the season, i really thought he was going to win the $500,000. that was until he decided to take Nicole to the final rather than James. yet another $450,000 mistake. in one of the closest votes i remember, Nicole won 5-4 over Paul. it was the first time in Big Brother history that a woman won paired against a man.

Any Given Wednesday was excellent last night.

You're The Worst was fucking awesome last night. i wish this episode would have been out when my father died. i truly would have laughed my ass off.

American Horror Story was great last night. i know when the show starts to really get weird, it really gets good. two episodes in and i have a good feeling.

NXT was pretty good last night. the more i watch Cedric Alexander wrestle in WWE, i can't help but wonder what the fuck was ROH thinking letting him go?

Lucha Underground was good last night as well.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Better Things and Fuck, That's Delicious.

i will probably watch some of the NFL game tonight between the Texans and the Patriots. i have 1 player going tonight and i believe both of my opponents have multiple players going tonight.

team USA plays Czech Republic tonight in a who gives a shit game at the World Cup of Hockey. i doubt i will watch much of it.

burning the candle at both ends...

this morning i woke up to a knock on my bedroom door and my mother asking if she was going to have to drive herself to the doctor? i looked at the clock and oh shit, it's 9 AM. that means i almost got 5 hours of sleep. i got up and ready and drove her to her doctor's appointment. i believe my age is finally catching up to me. not the age 40 mind you, but my real age. between the drugs, drinking, apathy, abuse and god knows what else, i figure my real age is somewhere around 60 or so. good times.

the New York Yankees finally won a game last night. they got some great pitching and of course, another home run from Gary Sanchez. the 5-3 win last night was very much needed. hopefully they get another one tonight.

when team USA scored first last night against Canada, i was fucking pumped. that might have lasted for about 2 minutes or so. Canada of course won the game 4-2. i didn't bother to watch the third period at all. i believe this little caption summed up everything:
it's absolutely time for USA Hockey to grow the fuck up and realize the rest of the world has passed them by. you're not going to win tournaments with muckers and grinders.

The Voice was really, really good last night. a handful of the blind auditions blew me the fuck away.

Scream Queens was excellent last night. looks like another great season.

Smackdown was great once again last night, mostly for the fact that John Cena lost clean to Dean Ambrose for his first clean non ppv loss in 7 fucking years. the writers on that show absolutely deserve a fucking raise.

Atlanta was excellent once again. i really hope people are checking out this show.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of Big Brother, Lucha Underground, Any Given Wednesday, American Horror Story and You're The Worst. i will watch NXT on WWE Network at some point tonight.

i heard back from Larissa at Rose Red Review on my poetry submission. while she enjoyed my work, she decided to pass on them for now. she wants me to send her more in October.

i had to run to the store today to get the next round of pills my mom is on. her doctor wrote her off work for another month today. the MRI is coming on Monday morning. i have to take her to the place at 6:30 in the fucking morning. i guess i will either be going to bed early on Sunday night or just staying the fuck up.

i got back from the store in time to watch Manchester United play in the league cup today. thankfully, even though they were a bit too fucking sloppy for my tastes, they beat Northampton 3-1. goals from Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera and Marcus Rashford. they will next play Manchester Shitty in the league cup, at home at least. the next premier league game is on Saturday morning against Leicester City. i will certainly enjoy the victory beer tonight.

now i have to go think of what to put on the grocery list as i know damn well i'll be back there, probably on Friday.

that's all for me kids. go enjoy what's left of the last day of summer. not that it won't feel like fucking summer for another 3 weeks or so.

busy for a lazy person

so yesterday i woke up because of the phone ringing. today was a cramp in my left leg. talk about one of those holy shit, ok i'm awake moments. thankfully, it didn't last long. but, i took it as a sign to get my ass going and get shit done today. more on all that later.

i finally won a fantasy football match. 1-1 is certainly better than 0-2, which i am in my other league. i did go 11-5 on picks for the week. that's 3 games better than the week before.

i did watch a little of the Eagles win over the Bears last night. i'm not yet ready to declare Carson Wentz great yet. let him beat a good team first.

Monday Night Raw was mostly ho hum for the first 2 hours. then the cruiserweights finally came out. that match was a little sloppy but certainly kept me awake. the steel cage match between Owens and Reigns was good, until the fucking ending. why the fuck would you ever have your champion lose a match right before a ppv? oh, that's right, Vince wants all of us to think of Roman Reigns as the next John Cena. well, fuck you Vince. he's not. he's not even a good Roman Reigns yet. i just know they are going to fuck up this Clash of Champions coming up on Sunday.

The Big Bang Theory was very funny last night.

Gotham was fucking spectacular. the show just keeps getting better.

The Voice was pretty good last night. i do enjoy that Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus are shaking up the show a bit. a few of the singers were really good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be WWE Smackdown, Scream Queens, Atlanta and The Voice. i'll probably end up watching USA vs. Canada in the World Cup of Hockey for a little bit tonight. it's a MUST WIN game for team USA.

the New York Yankees will try to stop their losing streak tonight down in Tampa. i won't be watching.

i did send out 17 poems today. 6 each to In Between Hangovers and ZYX; 5 to Horror Sleaze Trash. when i hear back from these places i'll pass along the verdicts.

before i mailed out the poems, i made a deposit at the bank. the bank i go to isn't that far away from where there was a murder last night. good times.

after the bank, i went to the local grocery store to get milk and bread. a note to the stunning blonde i saw in the store and was parked in front of me in the parking lot: WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE? of course, she was absolutely not interested in me at all. i passed her once and made eye contact and smiled and i'm not sure if she saw me or was looking right through me. but, she will end up in some poems.

mom cancelled her appointment with the chiropractor. she's a little pissy that her doctor hasn't got back to her about the MRI. these are the times where i wish she was a drinker.

i still have trash to pick up here and next door, so that's all for me today kids.

a weekend i'd like to forget

this past weekend was one of those that i wish the artsy fartsy part of my brain would have been dominant when i was a child so i wouldn't have to go through a weekend where sports are life and death for me.

the New Orleans Saints for the first time in what feels like forever, got a great performance out of their defense. but, as it has been for the last decade or so, take them out of the dome, and the offense stinks. what makes it even worse, the Saints could have won if just a key few plays would have been executed correctly. instead, they lost 16-13 to the New York Giants on a field goal right as time expired.

the New York Yankees got up 4-0 last night. i chuckled. in all 4 games in Boston, they had the lead at some point. and just like clockwork, the lead vanished and so did any hope of them making the playoffs. Boston won 5-4 for their first 4 game sweep of the Yankees in Boston since 1990. the Yankees start a series down in that dump in Tampa tomorrow. i won't be watching.

i'm trailing in both of my fantasy football matches. one i have no chance to win, and that opponent didn't even start a whole team that was active yesterday. the other one, i have 2 players going tonight for the Eagles. i think i need to make up 14 points to get the victory. hopefully the game tonight of the Eagles vs. Bears will be a high scoring game.

the USA women's national soccer team won last night against the Netherlands. i'll be drinking for that one sometime tonight.

the season finale of Vice Principals last night was hilarious and then really fucking dark. and i mean dark, dark comedy. hopefully there will be a season 2. Ballers was excellent last night. that season finale next week looks like it should be crazy. the season finale of Ray Donovan was as crazy as the other seasons. Masters of Sex was pretty good last night. and finally, Power was really damn good last night. that season finale next week has the potential to be absolutely amazing.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, Gotham and The Big Bang Theory. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw and probably some of Monday Night football as well.

i did listen to the latest Sam & Cathy podcast today. you can find that by going here:

i spent most of my morning today watching this beautiful tree get cut down two doors down from us. i have no fucking clue why they cut it down. i can only guess the shade from it was blocking people from seeing the Donald Trump sign in the yard. i'm truly amazed at the number of dumb fucks i live around that think the country should be run like a reality show. of course, i can count the minorities in this town on one hand, so it's not that surprising.

i'll be on here tomorrow after taking mom to the chiropractor and mailing some poems at the post office.

i hope everyone had a great weekend, or at the very least, better than mine.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

i should have just kept sleeping

so the Ohio State game ended late last night and i knew it would be just 5 or so hours before Manchester United played in the morning. i tried to get a quick nap in, but really only got portions of sleep that added up to around 2 1/2 hours. judging from the game, i should have just kept sleeping and not even bothered. more on that later.

i'll start with the only good thing that happened yesterday, Ohio State going to Oklahoma and beating the shit out of them. the final score was 45-24, though if the officials weren't blind, it would have been 45-17. how the fuck does someone drop the ball before crossing the goal line and none of the officials on or in the replay booth fucking see it? oh, that's right, Big 12 officials. enough said. Ohio State ran for nearly 300 yards last night. as i told my mother, that's how you emasculate a team. plus, Noah Brown had his coming out party with probably the catch of the year.
all in all, even with the long ass weather delay, it was an excellent win. maybe Oklahoma's backup QB will think twice before he calls another team's defense basic ever again.
always fun to watch a young white kid learn a hard lesson.

the New York Yankees pissed away another lead yesterday and lost again to Boston, 6-5. they basically have given up all the ground they made during the 7 game winning streak. they will try to avoid the sweep tonight, but i won't be watching.

team USA came out flat as fuck to start the World Cup of Hockey yesterday. they lost to Europe 3-0. i didn't bother to watch the third period at all. they next play Canada, who beat the Czech Republic 6-0 last night. i suppose Tuesday is going to be either the game that changes the fortunes of team USA or show everyone why they should have never hired Torts to be the damn coach.

ROH was excellent last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Power, Ballers, Vice Principals, Ray Donovan, Masters of Sex and The Strain.

so i got up this morning hoping that Manchester United could get me off to a good day. knowing that they hadn't lost at Watford for 3 decades, i had high hopes. fuck me. once again, some shitty officiating played a role today, but also did just a horrible mix of players. Manchester United lost 3-1. honestly, there's a handful of fuckers that i wish would never play for the club again, but i know that's not going to happen. that's 3 losses in a row for The Special One. that hasn't happened to him since 2002. hopefully this fucking slump ends soon.

the New Orleans Saints play at the New York Giants today. i figure it's going to take a fucking miracle for the Saints to win. i wish i knew prayer actually worked.

my fantasy football teams are both projected to lose. i don't think i have started off a fantasy football season 0-2 in a long damn time.

hopefully all the damn rain is out of the area now. i could use a day where i'm not in constant pain.

i hope everyone had a good Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

rain, you bastard

so i was in the waiting room of the chiropractor's office today and it was pouring outside. raining so hard that people were thinking twice about going out to their cars. this beautiful older woman was getting ready to leave and she happened to see the rain and think twice. she then sat down right next to me. my arthritis is fucking raging and here is my "dream" woman sitting next to me. long legs, glasses, perfect smell, fuck me i'm in so much pain that i can't even think of small talk at the moment. she eventually looked up from her phone and asked me if it was still raining hard. i told her it had lightened up a bit. she looked out the window and said, well, i might as well go now. if i was a smooth motherfucker, i would have said something. sadly, i'm not. but, at least i know what the next poems will be about.

the New York Yankees lost last night, 7-4. they are certainly going in the wrong direction if they want to make the playoffs. they play Boston again this afternoon.

Big Brother was a recap episode last night, mostly what had happened on the season, a few unseen clips, etc. i think Paul is in the driver's seat to win it all this season. the finale is on Wednesday.

NJPW was excellent last night.

Treehouse Masters was great last night. they were building this awesome structure at Zac Brown's Southern Ground camp. it was amazing.

High Maintenance was fucking hilarious last night. yet another show that makes me miss my days of smoking pot.

the World Cup of Hockey starts today. i will probably watch some of the games. i know that team USA takes on team Europe this afternoon.

Ohio State takes on Oklahoma tonight at Oklahoma. this should a great test for the young Buckeyes.

i'll probably watch some other college football games as well today.

i'll be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays. hopefully i will be in a good mood.
