just one of those nights...

last night was one of the more bizarre sports nights i can remember. and it certainly didn't include the amount of alcohol i was hoping for...

for National Poetry Month, i give you:

let's start with the afternoon... Manchester United played much, MUCH better than i thought they were going to. in the second half, Marcus Rashford unleashed a beauty of a shot to give them the lead. they eventually went up 2-0 before West Ham woke up. at this point, i knew this game was going to be a nail biter. sure enough... West Ham scored to make it 2-1 but thankfully, United held on from there to get the unlikely win. this puts them in the semis of the FA Cup against Everton.

i had that victory beer right after the game, hoping there would be more. i hate when i am outed as a fucking fool.

the New York Yankees lost last night 7-2. the game was close at one point but the bullpen i raved about finally shit the bed. oh well. they are winning tonight as i'm typing this. if they hold on to win tonight it would be another series win. they play tomorrow night back at home against Seattle.

the New York Rangers dominated the first period but like most of the fucking season, they forgot to score. and then came the moment of the night where i could taste a little vomit in my mouth. Marc Staal somehow got his stick into the mask of The King and just happened to get him in the eye. in another bizarre twist, AV leaves him in the game. so, naturally, Pittsburgh scores like 30 seconds later or something like that. the backup goalie starts the second period. after another period of dominating but not scoring, enter Dan Girardi thinking he's actually still a good at his job. instead of getting the puck deep he tries to get it through 4 people and wouldn't you know it, the dumb fuck forgets Cindy Crosby is behind him. breakaway... 2-0 Penguins. at this point i was so fucking angry i stopped watching the game and put on Lucha Underground. it was a wise decision as the Rangers lost 5-2. thankfully, they don't play again until Saturday. that should give The King time to get better (please god) and for the rest of the team to pull their heads out of their asses.

Lucha Underground was great last night. i love the Trios matches. talk about a wonderful thing to watch.

NXT was really good as well last night. i could watch Nakamura do just about anything and be entertained.

i did watch Golden State set the record for NBA wins in the regular season last night. they do look like they know they have to win the title for the record to mean anything.

and i did watch Kobe Bryant's ridiculous final game last night. if you love Kobe, you'll talk about the 60 points he scored. if you hate Kobe (as you should), you'll laugh and remember that it took the fucker 50 shots to get those 60 points. any player worth a shit could do something like that with 50 fucking shots.
if i wasn't a Sacramento fan, i'd say you had a great career. but since i am, thank fucking god you are retiring. good riddance.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be WWE Smackdown and Lip Sync Battle.

mom and i both had prescriptions we had to pick up this afternoon. so after the trip to the grocery store, we went out to lunch. i decided i was going to be a good boy and got chicken with avocado on whole wheat. wasn't bad, though i probably shouldn't have had the fries. i think i know no matter what i do i'm going to be a diabetic. i lost the genetic lottery on that one.

mom has physical therapy tomorrow afternoon, so i don't know if i will do the blog before or after that. i do know i hope to write some poems while i'm down there. i'd like to get a submission or two out next week.

that's all for me kids. the sun was out again today. two days in a row. the world must be ending.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
