and just when i thought it couldn't get any worse...

so i waited around all day for the New York Yankees to do something at the trade deadline and they did nothing. it's a bit of a gamble when just about every other team in the American League got "better". hopefully these prospects they have decided to hold on to become the next "Core Four" like they are thinking they will.

the Yankees lost last night in Texas 7-6 on a walk off single. it was a game where the Yankees had plenty of chances to kill them off but never did. oh well. they start a series tonight in Chicago with the White Sox, who are on fucking fire at the moment. it should be an interesting series.

my sister forwarded me an email from one of our aunts last night with some eye opening news. i never knew that colon cancer runs on my father's side of the family. perhaps that is why i didn't sleep well last night. i did finally get all the addresses to my father's sisters. so, i will start the Christmas cards this year. i figure that is a decent start for someone who genuinely hates most humans.

enjoy some music kids:

Big Brother was pretty good last night. it should be an interesting week with James as the new HOH. he wants to carry out the plan Jason had before he got evicted. if it happens, the house will be crazy in a few days.

Married was pretty funny last night. it also reminded me why i hate dating. SDRR was pretty good as well. Lip Sync Battle was probably the first one that did nothing for me, but that was probably because i had no fucking clue who the two stars were. first time i really felt old in a while.

tonight on the DVR will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

enjoy some funny shit:

for the Friday Flashback this week, here are 3 poems from the archives:

i got some FREE music at NoiseTrade today. i'll put that link in the music section below.

i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. i believe my sister might stop by sometime tomorrow, plus the art i ordered from Fracture Me is supposed to be here tomorrow. i can't wait to see how the photos of the farm turned out.

that's all for me today. call if you need bail money.

the days where you don't bother to get out of bed

when i got done with this blog yesterday, i went out to the kitchen and asked my mother when the fuck did it rain? she looked at me like i was crazy, as there was water everywhere outside. i guess i have my room exactly how i want it. when i'm in there and the door is closed, the outside world does not exist. good times.

the New York Yankees lost last night 5-2. and then the news hits today of some injuries and a what the fuck trade. i'm not a happy camper. they end the series tonight with CC on the mound. oh god.

Manchester United lost last night 2-0 to PSG. as i heard one fan put it after the game, maybe this shows them they still need another central back and another striker. your lips to god's ears. i didn't bother to watch the game after i saw the score.

i might have watched a few minutes of the MLS All-Star game. in my opinion, Tottenham isn't a big enough club for me to care. of course, in a few days i will care as they will be the first opponent for Manchester United this season in the Premier League.

the wrestling last night was really good. i watched most of ROH again, mostly just to see two of the most underrated guys going today, ACH and Bobby Fish. NXT was pretty good. it was nice to see Kevin Owens win again. plus, the tag team title match was much better than i thought it was going to be. but, the winner of the night was Lucha Underground. if the first night of Ultima Lucha is going to be like this:
i can't wait to see what happens next week. the whole show was fucking amazing. here are some highlights:

there was some really funny shit on last night, enjoy:

that last one had me fucking laughing all morning.

enjoy a little music my friends:

i really wish CBS would have shown what really happened for Big Brother last night. i feel bad for the people that don't follow the live feeds. they get a completely different show than those of us that do. i'm about 99% sure Jason will get evicted tonight. i really hope someone from the other side of the house wins HOH this week so it gets interesting.

also tonight will be Married, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll and Lip Sync Battle. another busy night for the DVR.

here's some more funny shit:

a big thank you to one of my favorite divas of all-time. enjoy retirement and the married life. though, i'll still contend you would be better off with me :)

got some more music on NoiseTrade today. since iTunes doesn't do FREE music anymore, i guess NoiseTrade is going to become my new favorite site. i'll post the links below in the music section.

i think we are officially in the dog days of summer now. it's definitely not weather i enjoy. just too hot for me to be outside without becoming a darker shade of red. i need a place where it is basically fall all the time. upper 60's with some sun and a breeze. then i'd be fucking Thoreau.

that's all for me today. my bad back is aching for my massage chair.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

it's hell for fat people

there's nothing quite like going out at 8 in the morning to get the paper and as soon as you walk out the door you feel the first little bit of sweat start to run down your back. and before you can get to the street and back in the air conditioning, that sweat is now in your asshole brewing up a storm. welcome to summer in my world. enjoy the visuals.

the New York Yankees fell behind last night 5-0 before the first inning was over. i was not happy. when i checked back a few minutes later, the Yankees had scored 6 runs and had the lead. they would go on to score 11 in that second inning. as a matter of fact, they scored 21 unanswered runs to win 21-5. that's a slow pitch softball score right there. the best thing, the Yankees next two pitchers after the starter got bombed didn't give up a hit. beautiful. hopefully it continues tonight.

WWE Tough Enough had another shocking ending. honestly, it's probably for the best that Mada got eliminated. i have no doubt he will be wrestling somewhere soon. and he's big enough that the WWE will come calling before too long. The Miz replaced Hulk Hogan as a judge. he spiced things up immediately and probably came within an inch of Paige killing him. that should make the next month interesting.

Total Divas was actually pretty good. Deadliest Catch was excellent last night. Tyrant was really great. unfortunately my DVR cut off the final moments, but i stayed up to watch that later. another excellent episode. i can't wait for next week.

enjoy some music kids:

here's some funny shit:

i highly recommend the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast this week with Daniel Bryan. it is an excellent episode. you can find it on iTunes, Stitcher, notsam.com and on the right hand side of this blog.

tonight is going to be a crazy one on television. all at the same time; NXT, Lucha Underground, Big Brother, the MLS All-Star game are going on. throw in the Yankees and Manchester United vs. PSG on tape delay and you pretty much have what my night is going to look like. the DVR will be busier that shit this evening.

hopefully the shower i took this afternoon helps. i believe the air conditioning has been running nearly all damn day long. we were supposed to get some rain, or at least that's what my back was telling me. of course, 10 miles to the east is under a flood watch. figures.

i hope this finds everyone with a cool drink in their hands. and hopefully it won't be your last.

it's even hot in the shade

with the heat index in the upper 90's today, i was happy to find plenty of shit to do in the house today. my laundry, the trash, clean the toilets, etc. of course, my back has been killing me since i woke up this morning. more or less, i guess my life is about it being no fucking picnic.

i went searching for some music on NoiseTrade last night and found some really good stuff. i'll put the links below in the music section.

the New York Yankees kept on winning last night, beating Texas 6-2. when the Yankees got behind 2-0 i was a little curious to see how they would respond. well, next inning, they scored 3 and never looked back. A-Rod homered on his 40th birthday. i love that he is playing so well that people think he's on drugs again. i really couldn't give a shit either way. as long as the team wins, that's all that matters. hopefully the winning continues again tonight.

Monday Night Raw had some really great moments and then a few head scratching moments that drove me nuts. i love that the divas are getting more time. plus, anytime Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Paige or Becky Lynch wrestles, i'm watching. i was interested to see Kevin Owens and Randy Orton wrestle. of course, when i saw Sheamus out there, i knew there wouldn't be a clean finish. 10 minutes later, i was correct. the John Cena vs. Seth Rollins match was great, once again an opponent brought something out of Cena. now, i'll give John props for wrestling with the broken nose, but i'll never understand why they have this fucker win as much as they do. it's not like the kids won't still love him if he loses from time to time. and why do you bury your World Champion? it makes no fucking sense. but, i will always get a good chuckle at this photo from now on:

enjoy some music boys and girls:

there was some pretty funny shit on last night. enjoy some laughs:
and here is some more funny shit:

tonight on the DVR will be WWE Tough Enough (i wonder who replaces Hulk Hogan), Total Divas, Deadliest Catch and Tyrant. i'll probably watch it all tonight as i got the feeling i'm going to be in bed most of the rest of the day.

nothing like bending over to clean a toilet and you feel like you're in your late 80's all of a sudden. and my arthritis in my hands completely reminds me of what my grandmother went through. her fingers looked like a skeleton in a comic book by the time she was in her 70's. i get the feeling i'm on that path. the only difference is i won't have a cigarette burning down in one of mine like she did. of course, if pot ever becomes legal, all bets are off.

that's all for me today. no updates on the family front. i suppose that's appropriate, given how my life has gone.

hope everyone had a great day or lunch or a jerk in the shower. whatever it takes my friends.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

and people wonder why i despise most of humanity

let me share some quick poetry news before i rip my father's family a new asshole. i sent out 8 poems today, 3 to Dead Snakes and 5 to Misfit Magazine. these will be my last submissions for the month. when i hear back from these places i will pass on the verdict.

now, sit back and strap in. my sister called here last night asking if i was going to my aunt's in August when one of the sisters was going to be in town. i had no fucking clue what she was talking about. my sister, who thought for sure i would get a call or at least an email, correctly believes that these invitations are simply being done for show. i laughed, as i can imagine what it would be like to try to come to grips with 20 years or more of regret. so, we both decided we aren't going as we both have things already planned. what completely pisses me off is my email, my phone number, my address aren't that fucking hard to find. so, by keeping me in the dark, they more or less are still carrying out my father's lies. my mother brought up an interesting thought this morning when she wondered if they don't contact me out of fear. that they may believe my anger rivals that of my father. that is one aspect of my life that scares me the most. i do have my father's temper. now, i have more control of it than he did, mostly because i simply have never had the money he had to piss away at any given time. now, if i had this anger and made over $80,000 a year like he did when i was a child, who the fuck knows if i would even be alive. but the fact that they never think to email me first or call me first, it's always just call my sister and let her deal with me. like in 2015 i don't have voice mail. like i don't return calls or emails. the one thing that over 20 years of silence truly did... it's not that fucking hard to forget that ANY of them ever existed in the first place. and it is becoming more clear with each passing day, that must be how they want it. my father never taught me to be the better man. he never thought of that as one of his duties. all he needed to do was provide a roof and food. after that was done, so were his fatherly duties. and people wonder why i don't want to have kids. i suppose i might get an email after this little rant, but it wouldn't surprise me if i didn't. i feel bad for my sister as i imagine she will get a phone call regarding this. a little piece of advice to all of you, if you think i'm bad when i'm pissed off, piss her off and see what happens. she has a hard enough time remembering the past as it is. she will simply forget that any of you were ever on this planet and just go on with her life. how i fucking wish i had that power. i remember everything. every cut, every fault, every wrong, every chance i had taken from me, every word talked down to me... and all these slights have built up over the years. none of you have a fucking chance of getting through this wall, but i'd at least like a damn attempt or two. it was one thing when my father was alive. it's another after he's dead and ALL of you know the truth now. but, to each their own. you want the evil me, i will more than happily play the role. one thing my mother always stressed was choices and consequences. what she never realized was i was more than willing to accept any consequence. i make my choices and keep on living. and another thing... all you fuckers talk about how my father always talked so proudly about me, but NONE of you have EVER told me what he said. i am too fucking old to simply hear what you think i need to hear. if he did say something good or bad about me, i'd love to know about it since the fucker never talked to me from 1995 until his death. and that's also true for all of you as well. i would apologize for doing this publicly but i like dirty laundry. i don't keep anything hidden, from my desires, my passions, my faults, my misgivings... they are all for the world. i have no guilt nor any shame. i almost feel bad that you do. almost.

enjoy some music as we get on with the rest of the show:

the New York Yankees won again yesterday, 7-2. another series win. they start a 4 game series tonight in Texas against the Rangers. hopefully the offense keeps on producing.

i did not watch the Gold Cup final last night. i saw that Mexico won. that sets up a game in October between Mexico and the USA to see who goes to the Confederations Cup. the idiots decided to have the game at the Rose Bowl. so, it will be more or less, a home game for Mexico. i won't be shocked when the boys lose another one.

the Sunday night shows were excellent. Big Brother made it look like Austin was dead man walking. spoiler alert: don't believe what you see. the Wednesday show will make you shit your pants. True Detective was great. things are getting really weird, which is great. The Strain was excellent last night. i can't wait for next week. Ballers was good. even The Brink was good this week. Ray Donovan was really good. Masters of Sex was excellent. and finally, Last Week Tonight was fucking on point once again:

i ordered some more art today from Fracture Me. i got some pictures i took from the farm a few years ago. plus, i got some more abstracts for myself. if you are interested in getting some art from there, use the code "RFR82293" to get $5 off your order.

i also got the camera i won via one of the survey places online in the mail today. it came with a case and a mini tripod. that should come in handy, especially if i want to do some more interesting YouTube videos, this time using two cameras.

enjoy a little culture kids as i get ready to wrap this fucker up:

tonight i will be flipping back and forth between baseball and Monday Night Raw.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. hopefully your Monday hasn't been too shitty.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

i can't imagine why i have never liked July 26th

now, i know that title will get the attention of my father's family, as today would have been his 69th birthday. this is a day that has haunted me for as long as i can remember. i never remember my father making a big deal of his birthday, but he damn sure wanted to be treated like a fucking king on that day. of course, he was allowed to forget your birthday, but you were NEVER allowed to forget his. it's a little funny that the sale of the farm made the paper today. if he was alive and saw what it went for, i bet that fucker would remember i was his son then. all in all, i imagine my hatred for this day will cease over the years. but, for today, it's like a fresh wound that i am picking at, deciding if it is better to let it heal or open the fucker up and let it bleed. good times.

some music for your Sunday:

i did go to the grocery store yesterday with mom. the store had a deal of gift cards for fuel points, so i know a couple of things i'm getting for Christmas. plus, we should get cheap gas for the next month or so. saw a couple of things in the store that i will probably end up writing about.

speaking of writing, when i got up this morning i went through some poems and came up with 8 i will be sending out tomorrow, most likely. i was going to do it today but if you have read the opening of this post, you know why i didn't.

Manchester United played very well yesterday, beating Barcelona 3-1. the goals came from Rooney, Lingard and Januzaj. David de Gea looked great in goal. hopefully he has a great season and realizes he doesn't need to leave Manchester United after all. the next game is mid week against PSG in Chicago. yet another game i really wish i could find a way to get to. thankfully, it will be on television.

i made the right call to watch the United game instead of the USA taking on Panama for 3rd place in the Gold Cup. Panama dominated most of the game. it was 1-1 and going to extra time when the United game got over. i watched the extra time and the penalty kicks, mostly hoping for another victory beer. that never happened as Panama got what it earned, winning the penalty kicks 3-2. what truly pissed me off was to hear the USA coach say after the game that it wasn't a bad tournament for the team and it will look similar when the playoff comes up in October. what fucking world is Jurgen living in? i guess i can rest easy knowing i will never see the USA actually get to play for a World Cup title in my lifetime.

i did see some of the fireworks last night. sadly, they were starting just as the main event of the UFC last night. i wisely chose the fight. but, we do now know where the best spot in our driveway to watch the fireworks is.

the New York Yankees were down 5-0 last night. thankfully, A-Rod turned back the hands of time and played like it was a decade ago. when he hit his 3rd homer of the game on the first pitch of the 9th inning, tying the game at 5, i was really happy i decided to start watching. and when John Ryan Murphy hit his first homer of the season, a 3 run bomb to give the Yankees the lead 8-5, i was pumped. probably the best win of the season. they play again this afternoon. hopefully they can get out of Minnesota with a series win.

Power was excellent last night. another holy shit ending that throws another layer on the story. loved it. ROH was pretty good last night. i was in and out of it but watched it again early this morning. another good episode.

some more music for your Sunday:

tonight on the DVR will be Big Brother, True Detective, The Brink, Ballers, The Strain, Last Week Tonight, Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex. if the weather holds up, i'll probably get all of them watched this evening. we are supposed to get some storms to roll through today. hopefully they are out of here by this evening.

that's all for me today. i see the silly season in baseball has truly started. yet another reason i'm glad i'm not on twitter. i can just imagine the hours i would waste chasing down every fucking rumor. the horrors of being a sports fan in the 21st century.

hope everyone had a great Saturday. may your Sunday be better.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

who the fuck gets up early on a Saturday

it figures, i was hoping to sleep in today and of course, i was up before 7 in the morning. i think i got close to 5 hours of sleep. i guess that will have to do.

i realized i forgot to do my Flashback Friday yesterday. so, here are two links to some poems from my past. the first, one of many forays into love:
https://asphodelmadness.wordpress.com/2011/03/05/long-legs-and-a-shot-of-jack/
and the second being one of the best poems i have ever written. of course, i wrote it 20 years ago, which i either look at as i have had "it" since the beginning, or my life has been downhill ever since: http://www.myfavoritebullet.com/Campbell_Withdrawn.html

the New York Yankees got their asses handed to them last night, losing 10-1 to the Twins. just one of those nights where they could never get the big hit at the right time. they play again tonight.

NJPW was pretty good last night. i never pass up a chance to watch Nakamura take on Tanahashi. those two never fail to have a great match.

Treehouse Masters last night was really good. i guess the show is popular now as i have seen a few other treehouse shows on other channels. none of them are as good as Treehouse Masters though.

enjoy some music:

now, laugh motherfucker:

Manchester United takes on Barcelona today. i'm really interested to see how the boys stack up against another world class team. of course, i don't think Messi or Neymar are playing, so i'm taking everything that happens today with a grain of salt. but, i will drink if they win.

team USA takes on Panama for 3rd place in the Gold Cup today. as disappointing as playing in this game is, it would be even more disappointing to lose. i'm hoping the team comes out today trying to prove a fucking point.

i guess the fireworks at the community picnic will actually happen tonight. i might just venture outside and watch them, i believe i can do that from the backyard. of course, there's a chance of some thunderstorms to roll in when they are supposed to start. figures.

on the DVR tonight will be Power and ROH.

i'm not sure if i'm going to the store with mom or not. thankfully, the pills i called in last night are ready. that cuts out a second trip to the store.

that's all for me today. hope everyone has a great Saturday. enjoy some sun, some music, some drinks, and some of whatever money can buy.

a long overdue haircut

so i finally ventured out today and got a haircut. if my memory is correct, this was the first one since my birthday in January. it feels like my barber took off a ton of hair. this should work good for the dog days of summer. i left the mop on top though. eventually these bangs will fall over my eyes and then some silly YouTube madness will begin.

i was searching for some new music on NoiseTrade last night and found two artists that i wouldn't normally listen to. more on them in the music section. i wanted the music as i got the writing itch last night. i wrote 3 poems in about 15 minutes. that gave me 4 to type up this morning. i really like all 4. i think all of them will be in some submissions before the end of the month.

i wasn't surprised when i heard the Hulk Hogan news this morning. when i saw the actual comments and where they came from (his sex tape), that made me laugh. i'm actually thankful he will be gone from the WWE. i've been long since tired of his act. and i guess i have seen so many fucking racists in my life, that nothing really shocks me anymore. the bigger the person, the bigger the skeletons are. that's a theory that never really fails.

here's some music, enjoy:

the New York Yankees whipped Baltimore yesterday 9-3, to earn the sweep. this is the Yankees best record in i believe 2 1/2 years. they start a long road trip tonight in Minnesota.

i got my wish with Big Brother last night with Audrey being evicted. the new HOH's are Vanessa and Jackie. sadly, i believe Austin is going to be the target this week. he's made the mistake of talking to Jason.

Lip Sync Battle was hilarious last night. Married was very funny. and Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll made me think of my early days as a poet. i was usually drunk when i wrote anything. it was weird to try to write anything sober. eventually though, i got through it.

there was some really funny shit on late last night, enjoy:

tonight on the DVR will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

i will be on here tomorrow before the crazy soccer day starts. i believe the Manchester United vs. Barcelona friendly is on at the exact same time when the USA faces Panama for 3rd place in the Gold Cup. might be time for some picture in picture action tomorrow. though, to be honest, i'm much more interested in the United vs. Barcelona game.

i'm probably going to go to the grocery store early in the morning, at least that's the plan mom has. of course, we were going to go today as well but she's still in her pajamas working. as i tell her, she's living the life. and then i duck if she has anything in her hands.

the local festival is going on this weekend. i have lived here since 1997. i have never gone to it. i now live a few miles closer to it. i still probably won't go. though, i will most likely be able to see the fireworks when they go off on Sunday. of course, that's a big if as it is supposed to really rain hard on Sunday. good times.

that's all for me. i hope everyone has a great weekend. remember, tip your waitress and only fuck the ones that cough.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

so, i guess i'm supposed to be single until i die

when the question got asked this morning, i was a little stunned. not that it was asked, but that it was asked again. anyone that knows me knows that i have had horrific luck with meeting women on Google+ in my life. chalk today up as yet another one. and this was from one i actually thought was legit. we said our hellos this morning and then she wanted to know what bank i used. my first thought was holy shit, it's happening again. she said her mom needed to send her some money. her mother is in Texas. i said something about it being sent online and that there would be no need for my help in this matter. and right after whoever typed back ok, the next thing that pops up is exactly what you see in every you have won money from Nigeria email you get. all i need is your full name, address, phone number, etc. i started to laugh and asked if you would like my credit cards and bank account as well. i hit the block button before i got a reply. holy fucking shit. i have purposely opened myself up as i know i need fans, friends, etc. as a writer if i ever want to make a little money doing this before i die. but if part of that means i am going to get scammed every other day... i might just have to shut down the whole fucking thing and go back in my hole. i feel sorry for anyone that is of the opposite sex and actually does like me. the amount of fucking hoops they will have to go through will probably drive anyone away. so, there's how my morning went, how was yours?

enjoy some music as i clean my pallet:

i am still fucking pissed from the USA losing last night to Jamaica 2-1 in the Gold Cup. once again, the shitty fucking defense killed them. plus, it doesn't help that they lacked urgency when it came to scoring. now, they will play Panama in the 3rd place game and have to face either Jamaica or Mexico in October to see who plays in the Confederations Cup in 2017. i'm not shocked at all the columns i see today calling for the coach to be fired. i doubt that happens, but he's definitely on some thin fucking ice now.

i also watched some of that Mexico vs. Panama game last night. to any American that watched that game but doesn't watch many games from Mexico or South America regularly like i do, now you see what you have been missing. it's usually a damn near riot every game.

the New York Yankees won last night 4-3. that gives them another series win. this afternoon, they go for the sweep.

Big Brother did a decent job but didn't go far enough to show just how far off the deep end Audrey has gone the last few days. i truly can't wait for her to be evicted tonight.

wrestling was pretty good last night. NXT did the usual contract signing shenanigans that always happen in the WWE. that being said, the rematch between Finn Balor and Kevin Owens should be great. Eva Marie has made some real strides but she still has a long way to go. hopefully she makes it because she totally has the look of a star. and i do hope that Bayley gets the title soon, mostly so Sasha Banks can stay up on Raw and Smackdown. Lucha Underground was great last night. excellent storytelling as usual and i am totally psyched that Ultima Lucha will start next week. that should be awesome.

here's some funny shit:

i have been pleasantly surprised with who the Sacramento Kings have signed this season. they probably won't make the playoffs, but they should be way closer to being respectable once again.

after the Yankees game this afternoon, it's either going to be a haircut or a trip to the grocery store. not sure what will happen first. tonight on the DVR will be Big Brother, Married, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll and Lip Sync Battle.

that's all for me today. hopefully everyone reading this is doing better than i am.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

they are stalking me, i swear

last night would have been the perfect night to open the windows and sleep well. but, of course, this is my life, so something had to go awry. at first i thought i just had really bad gas. then i smelled a little closer and sure enough, it was a fucking skunk. i checked around the outside of the house and didn't see anything. needless to say, the windows stayed close. that was until my mother opened them this morning, after the lawn treatment company was here. nothing like going into the kitchen in the morning and it smells like a meth lab. i had my pop tarts and muffin in my room this morning.

i did happen to write another poem today. i haven't typed it up yet, but it is a fucking keeper. i always love the ones where i can make myself laugh.

a quick music break, enjoy:

the New York Yankees got some great pitching last night (especially the bullpen) and just enough offense to beat Baltimore 3-2. that puts them 10 games over .500 now. hopefully they can get on a nice long winning streak. they play again tonight.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night. Tyrant was excellent. i really love the way the show is going now. WWE Tough Enough had a "shocking" elimination last night, but for the long run, it was the best thing that could happen to Patrick. Total Divas had me laughing. if all the hatred for Eva Marie is truly real, i will totally laugh my ass off in a year when she can out wrestle everyone on the cast except Paige.

Manchester United won late last night 3-1 over the San Joe Earthquakes. Mata, Memphis, and Pereira with the goals. they next play on Saturday against Barcelona. that should be a tasty one for a preseason game.

here is some truly funny shit from last night:

tonight is going to be a busy one. team USA takes on Jamaica in about 45 minutes in the semifinals of the Gold Cup. after that, the DVR will be busy. NXT, Big Brother and Lucha Underground are all on tonight.

i'm really looking forward to NXT and Lucha Underground tonight. both shows look like they should be good.

time for some culture:

before i go, here's a song for the road:

hope everyone is doing good. it's almost 80 degrees in the house. i suppose i need to remind my mother what the heat does to her Meniere's disease. good times.

giving in

so, after once again being frustrated with my beard (mostly because i don't like hair with my food and i grow a beard like a sasquatch), the full beard is now just a funky ass goatee. this should help with the dog days of summer. though, i now need to decide what the fuck to do with my hair.

a big thank you to my latest muse on Google+. i wrote 4 poems today with her in mind. she hasn't given me any indication that in a few days she's going to ask me to send money to family in Africa, so that's a good thing. plus, she told me she's been in jail, another good thing. i always have liked women where there is a slight possibility i might get my ass kicked. as usual, i don't have my hopes up, but fuck, one of these times it has to lead to something. right?

two of the poems by the way are really fucking good. they will probably get sent out before the end of the month.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. the brawl between the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar was probably one of the best ones i have seen in about 20 years. when Brock yelled "I'm going to kill you" and the Undertaker replied "You're going to have to" i laughed my ass off. that sold me on the match right there. being an old wrestling fan, i'm all about the small details. i did like that there were two women's matches with Charlotte and Sasha Banks coming out as winners. now if they only would do that for the men coming up from NXT. the rumor i saw today about Kevin Owens being shuffled back down the roster because his merchandise was selling better than Cena's merchandise is so far fetched that it is absolutely true. i would never wish ill will on someone, but man i would love to see Cena stop wrestling SOON. the same damn act for over a decade. and honestly, i blame all the fucking parents for allowing their kids to root for him and buy his shit. my father was a complete asshole but the one thing i will be forever grateful for is he taught me to root for the heel. that the bad guy is way better to root for. and if you see my top 10 list, it's riddled with heels.

here's some music for you to enjoy:

there was plenty of funny shit on last night. strap in boys and girls:

tonight is going to be a busy one. the Yankees start up a series with Baltimore. Manchester United plays the San Jose Earthquakes late tonight. between those games will be WWE Tough Enough, Total Divas, Tyrant and Deadliest Catch. the DVR will be busy tonight.

i think i may be a happy camper when Big Brother rolls around on Wednesday and Thursday. my least favorite house guest seems to be on the way out. thank fucking god.

here's some more funny shit:

that is all for me today. hope this finds everyone with a cool drink or some sexual device in their hands.

the highlight of your day

the highlight of my day so far has been watching two squirrels fuck in the backyard. as you might imagine, today has been one of those summer days where i would have done just as well just sleeping all damn day. though, watching the squirrels will probably bring forth some poems in the next few days.

i'm debating on when i should get a haircut. truth is, it should have been a few weeks ago, but apathy was winning at the time. so, now the debate is do i go to my regular barber or do i go to who does my mom's hair. decisions, decisions.

i had very mixed feelings about WWE Battleground last night. i was thrilled that Charlotte won the divas triple threat match. i was beyond fucking pissed when John Cena won another instant classic over Kevin Owens. Kevin has probably brought out the 3 best matches John has had in his career, yet they won't allow the superhero to actually pass the torch to a guy who could out-wrestle him in his sleep. makes no fucking sense at all. i wasn't surprised when i saw the Undertaker come out and ruin the Lesnar vs, Rollins match. how they want me to believe that a 50 year old man is going to whip Brock's ass is somewhat comical. but i guess i know what the main event of SummerSlam is going to be; a match that doesn't involve the Champion. so here's WWE once again pissing away a great wrestler (Seth Rollins) just like they did CM Punk. stupid stupid STUPID. i've watched it so many damn times, i have to keep reminding myself that most of the writers come from Hollywood and still after years of doing it, they have no fucking clue about pro wrestling.

here's a little music break as i climb down from this soapbox:

the Sunday night shows were really great. Big Brother was pretty funny. The Strain was fucking awesome. that's a show that is beyond fucking creepy at times. Ballers was pretty funny. The Brink was a nice way to take a nap. i didn't like this week at all. True Detective was fucking amazing. i'm really interested to see where this goes now. Ray Donovan was great. Masters of Sex was good, but as usual with the show, it could have been better. but, once again, Last Week Tonight had me laughing my ass off:

now, if you have a spare 2 hours or so, please watch some of the filthiest and funniest shit you will ever see:

the New York Yankees won yesterday 2-1. CC pitched better than he had all season and Tex hit a huge home run in the 8th inning. another series won. they start up a series against Baltimore tomorrow night at home.

the only thing i plan on watching tonight is Monday Night Raw. i would love to see a show where they atone for their sins last night, but i know better to think that will happen. Vince is still alive and still thinks he knows what we want to see. as much as i will forever believe what CM Punk said in his classic "pipe bomb" promo, there's no doubt in my mind this company will be better off when HHH is completely in charge. mostly because i know damn well why anyone that comes up from NXT gets buried before too long, and that's all Vince. especially if guys came from the "indies". so fucking stupid.

as some of you clearly thought, i spent most of the day in my room stewing on wrestling. i can't imagine why i'm single and masturbate myself to sleep each night.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

get hot, storm, rinse, repeat

we have now entered the never ending summer cycle of heat, humidity, storm, night, do it all over again. at one point yesterday, the thermometer we have outside read 115 on it. thankfully, it was directly in the sun at the time. most of the day though, it was over 90 degrees. so imagine my joy when i wake up this morning and it is already 80 degrees. fuck me.

my friend Paul did come over yesterday to watch the USA absolutely destroy Cuba 6-0. finally, they played a full 90 minutes. they will next play Jamaica in the semifinals of the Gold Cup. enjoy some highlights:

the New York Yankees lost yesterday 4-3. Pineda really only made 2 mistakes. sadly, they both ended up in the seats. but, at least they gave themselves a chance in the 9th, but the rally fell short. they go for the series win this afternoon.

Power last night was really good. it had a nice twist near the end that i truly wasn't expecting. it should make the next few weeks really interesting.

ROH was kind of disappointing last night. it was the 200th episode and they decided to treat most of it as a clip show. for someone who has seen most of the 200 episodes, this was just a trip back into recent memory. if it would have been the history of the company, it would have made more sense. and the main event of the show was great, but it couldn't save the previous 45 minutes.

now go enjoy some music, some humor and my reminder of why i like women with curves:

WWE Battleground is on tonight. so my usual Sunday night shows are going to become my late night/early Monday morning Sunday night shows. on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, The Strain, True Detective, The Brink, Ballers, Last Week Tonight, Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex. that is if the storms don't knock out the satellite feed like last night.

a thing just popped up on the computer saying the storms are going to hit in 2 hours. good times.

hopefully tonight at Battleground Kevin Owens takes the US Championship away from John Cena. that would make me a very happy man. as for the rest of the show, as long as Lesnar and Rollins have a classic, i'm ok with whatever else happens.

i went on a LinkedIn rampage last night tracking down people from my past. not sure if part of me is dying to come out of my cage or if i'm just a lonely fucker at times who gets sick of myself most days. welcome to my world.

that's all for me this morning. my ankle is starting to bother me, so i know rain is on the way. good times. i hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday. if it wouldn't be so damn hot and stormy i'd go downtown for the Blues Festival, but i can't see that happening.

the deadly heat

when i went out to try to kill a squirrel eating on the bird food this morning, i noticed that it was already the air you can wear. this was at 9 in the morning. i can just imagine what it is going to feel like this afternoon when it's supposed to get up into the 90's. thankfully, i will be inside. my best friend Paul is coming over today to watch the Gold Cup game after he gets off of work.

Manchester United won 1-0 last night over Club America. i thought for it being the first friendly of the new season, the team looked good enough. i don't think anyone got injured last night, so that's a plus. Morgan Schneiderlin scored the only goal. LVG said he wants to buy two more players. if they are the right ones, i think this could be a dynamic year for the club.

Treehouse Masters was really good last night. as was NJPW.

the New York Yankees got the second half of the season off to a good start last night, winning 4-3. A-Rod homered in the bottom of the 7th for the difference in the game. this gives the Yankees their biggest lead in the division all season. they play again this afternoon.

i heard back from Raw Dog Press yesterday. they passed on the poems i sent. that ticked me off a bit as i wrote the poems with that press in mind. i'll have to do some hunting to find publishers that want poems that are 7 lines or less.

we actually made it back from the grocery store yesterday before the storms hit. i was shocked.

enjoy some music, some humor, some food and some art you fuckers:

team USA plays a Cuba team today that is missing players. hopefully that means they will win this game "easily" and advance to the semifinals of the Gold Cup.

today is really going to just be trying to beat the heat and hopefully enjoying some victory beers. other than ROH tonight, i have no clue what i'll be watching. most likely i will be helping mom put up stuff around the house. or i'll trick Paul into doing that. probably not.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. enjoy the sun, some drinks, a hot fuck in the air conditioning and maybe a nice cigar afterwards. or maybe a glass of wine. just don't pass out and piss your pants. thankfully, i was alone when that happened. and it was a little more than number 1. let's just say that set of bedding is buried in a dump somewhere now. but, i did figure out that i was lactose intolerant. file this under how The Big Lebowski helped save my life.

once again, enjoy the visual.

bring on the weak end

if the pain in my bones is correct, it will be raining here in a few hours. in a perfect world, i'll be home from the grocery store before it starts. in reality, it will probably be raining as i'm putting the groceries into the car. good times.

last night was a pretty fucking funny one. i laughed so damn hard i nearly pissed my pants and passed out, at the same time. you talk about talent. the first thing that made me howl was this from Lip Sync Battle:

Big Brother went as i thought it would. it should be an interesting week with one of the twins as HOH. Married was hilarious last night. and i think i'm really going to enjoy Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll. that show made me really laugh. and to have Robert Kelly on drums makes me laugh even harder.

then came The Tonight Show. as i told my mother this morning, this completely reminded me of Carson in the 70's:
i haven't laughed that fucking hard in a long time.

now enjoy a long musical break my friends:
i had a fan send me this next song a long time ago. i still think of her even though we have long since lost touch. so, wherever you are Kelly, i do hope you are well.

the baseball season starts back up tonight. the New York Yankees will be at home playing Seattle. hopefully the boys can get on a nice winning streak to start the second half.

on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and Treehouse Masters.

and then late tonight, Manchester United takes on Club America in Seattle, Washington. i'm really interested to see how all the new players look. plus, i never turn down a chance to have a victory beer.

i feel like today is going to be a good one. it's always nice to wake up to poems being accepted. and then i found some new FREE music from Wilco and Third Eye Blind.

and since those names should have taken you back, welcome to Flashback Friday. today, let's revisit one of my favorite poems i have ever written. and sadly, it's a true story:
http://www.zygoteinmycoffee.com/100s/issue117socialanxiety.html

i smile when anyone says i make this shit up. god, i really wish that was the case. but, sadly, all the "good" poems comes from experience. and i get those published a hell of a lot more often than when i just sit back and let my imagination take over. now i like the imagination ones better, mostly because they didn't involve me going through any fucking pain to make them.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. i will be back on here sometime before the USA plays Cuba tomorrow in the Gold Cup.

the weather is supposed to be really hot and sticky this weekend. just perfect weather for fat people like me.

enjoy that visual.

i heard back from Dai at Your One Phone Call on my poetry submission from yesterday. my poems "be careful what you teach your children", "an odd looking smile", "something greater than", "a body to die for" and "we are learning from the mistakes of others" have been accepted for publication. these poems are scheduled to appear on Oct. 8th, Oct. 22nd, Nov. 5th, Nov. 19th and Dec. 3rd.

what else could go wrong

simply imagine my joy when i'm on the computer and suddenly the internet goes out. add to that the telephone going out as well. thankfully, i wasn't in the middle of typing up poems or watching porn, i was only reading some news. but, you can really imagine how much fun i had when the internet finally came back on, 6 HOURS later. fuck me. i got what shit i could do offline done in the afternoon (bank, post office). and, like usual, once i started doing shit around the house, boom, the fucker comes back on. i learned that trick at the farm. if i ever wanted the phone to ring or someone to knock on the door after i've been waiting for hours, go take a shit. it never fails.

so, once all the updates that didn't happen got over with and i got through the 72 emails i had... today turned into what i wanted it to be... poetry day. i sent out 19 poems today, 5 each to Your One Phone Call and Hiram Poetry Review, 3 each to Dead Snakes, Raw Dog Press and Pink Litter. when i hear back from these places i'll pass along the verdicts.

the light by my computer is dying, so it's sort of like typing in the dark at the moment. good times.

enjoy some music:

Big Brother went as i thought it would last night. i fully expect Jeff to get evicted tonight. as for wrestling, i didn't watch much of ROH. i had already seen it. NXT was really, really good. the main event between Sasha Banks and Charlotte was great:
but the winner of the night for me was Lucha Underground. if you haven't hopped aboard this train, do so NOW. it is shaping up to be an awesome fucking ride:

there was also plenty of funny shit last night as well:

tonight on the DVR will be Big Brother, an incredible episode of Lip Sync Battle that i fear will be one of those things you can't clean from your brain EVER, Married and the new show Sex and Drugs and Rock and Roll.

as for now, i'm going to go eat dinner and enjoy what is left of a sunny, hardly any humidity at all, slight breeze, but, as usual, TOO MANY FUCKING LAWNMOWERS running, day. if i had the money, i would turn the whole fucking lawn into a putting green that would NEVER be mowed. the problem is all the elderly fuckers around here play golf and i'm pretty sure someone would peek through my windows and watch me masturbate. much to their horror, that wouldn't make me stop.

enjoy that visual boys and girls, i have more emails to catch up on.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
